 Reporting to the Head of Engineering MEA, this position requires an enthusiastic individual who is capable of managing multiple projects and has extensive experience in formwork design.
 
 
 
 You Will Be Responsible For
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Analyzing structural drawings provided by clients
 </li>
 <li>
 Implementing formwork solutions in accordance with project requirements and/or instructions of the Sales Engineer, Senior Project Designer, and/or Team Leader
 </li>
 <li>
 Proposing the most economical and technically sound solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducting basic static calculations and advanced structural analyses
 </li>
 <li>
 Producing material lists, offer drawings, and shop drawings
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisting Sales Engineers with site visits and client presentations
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinating the timely delivery of shop drawings as per instructions
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborating with clients to resolve technical issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring effective coordination with other stakeholders and departments
 </li>
 <li>
 Considering material availability during the design stage
 </li>

 Communicating with the sales department in the absence of Team Leader

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Degree in Civil or Technical Engineering and/or equivalent education
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum three years of experience in formwork engineering (and statics)
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of Doka Formwork Systems will be an advantage
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency with AutoCAD; working experience with BIM models in Revit &amp; Inventor is an added advantage
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical skills and technical proficiency
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent proficiency in English
 </li>
 <li>
 Good team player with attention to detail and a feel for economic matters
 </li>

The Data Technician Lead will be responsible for the physical installation of cabling, overseeing the work of others, surveying work sites to determining best installation practices, coordinator workflow within the unit, and providing on the job training to other technicians as needed.
 
Essential Functions

<li>Responsible for leading technical teams of varying sizes on small- and large-scale projects</li>
<li>Communication with PM on manpower and material needs</li>
<li>Communication with clients/customers</li>
<li>Serve as a liaison between office and field, communicating all information that is not classified as confidential</li>
<li>Develop project plan including required materials deliver schedules completion schedules manpower requirements and tool/equipment lists</li>
<li>Manage the process of tracking tools and materials to prevent loss</li>
<li>Adhere to safety protocols and complete appropriate documentation</li>
<li>Maintain housekeeping for a safe jobsite</li>
<li>Communication with other trades on jobsite</li>
<li>Ability to monitor project schedule and milestones and provide progress updates as needed</li>

Minimum Qualifications

<li>Ability to create a team atmosphere.</li>
<li>Complete understanding of blueprints and related architectural symbols.</li>
<li>High level of understanding of firestopping principles as it pertains to telecom pathways.</li>

Physical Demands
 This position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.
 
Work Environment
 This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.
