As a dedicated Property Adjuster, you will work within defined guidelines and framework, investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle low to moderate complexity property insurance claims. You will confirm/analyze coverage, recognize liability exposure and negotiate equitable settlement in compliance with all state regulatory requirements. This is an <b>experienced desk Property Adjuster claims role. </b>The ideal candidate will possess strong virtual estimating skills for low to moderate severity losses and/or reconcile estimates while working in a telephone concentrated environment without physical inspection of loss. Typical work schedules are between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (local time) Monday to Friday, with potential to work extended hours to support CAT claims. This is a hourly, non-exempt position with overtime and CAT pay opportunities.</p><p></p><p><b>

Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of claims with low to moderate complexity damages that require commensurate knowledge and understanding of claims coverage.</p></li><li><p>

A Day in the Life of a Field Property Adjuster:</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Conduct both virtual and on-site investigations by visiting policyholders&rsquo; residences to assess propertydamage, determine liability, evaluate the extent of loss, and negotiate fair settlements.</li>
<li>Use claims handling software, a company car, and a laptop to determine claims-related damage and write estimates in a paperless environment.</li>
<li>Evaluate and report on potential subrogation opportunities.</li>
<li>Reports incidents involving theft, fraud, or arson to appropriate state and industry agencies.</li>
<li>Perform duties independently, with work directly impacting management outcomes.</li>
<li>Acts as a company representative in public interactions, maintaining a professional demeanor consistentwith management standards.</li>
