 Strategic Privacy Program Design &amp; Leadership

 Establish and operationalize a centralized Data Protection Office: define its charter, structure, roles, and reporting lines.

 Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Law, Risk Management, or a related field.

<li>Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles</li>
<li>Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits</li>
<li>Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements</li>
<li>Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post</li>
<li>Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner</li>
<li>Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders</li>
<li>Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management</li>
<li>Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
<ul><li>Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Must possess one or more of the following</li><li><ul><li>
Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone</li>
<li>Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies</li>
<li>A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch</li>
<li>Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service</li></ul></li><li>
Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)</li>
<li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Job Overview

As an Asset Protection Officer (APO), you are the first point of contact for our customers and play a vital role in delivering a safe and welcoming environment. Stationed at key entry points or high shortage areas, your visible presence helps deter theft and minimize risk, while also reinforcing our commitment to hospitality and customer care. You serve as both a protector and a brand ambassador - maintaining strong situational awareness, responding calmly to incidents, and working in partnership with store teams to ensure a seamless, secure, and service-driven shopping experience.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. Who You Are and What You Will Do
<ul>

</ul></li><li>Serve as a visible and reassuring presence at high-traffic entrances and high-shortage areas to help deter theft and identify suspicious behavior.</li>
<li>Assist in the apprehension of shoplifters under the direction of Asset Protection Leaders, Captains, or Detectives.</li>
<li>Accurately document incidents, including theft, accidents, and audit findings, through detailed and timely reporting.</li>
<li>Conduct operational audits and complete assigned Asset Protection tasks as directed.</li>
<li>Partner closely with store teams to promote a safe environment and support a culture of excellent customer service.</li>
<li>Ensure full compliance with company policies and legal standards regarding apprehensions, searches, and the handling of evidence.</li>
<li>Provide testimony in both criminal and civil legal proceedings as needed.</li>
<li>Respond to medical situations and facilitate basic first aid for customers and colleagues.</li>
<li>Handle proprietary, sensitive, and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.</li>
<li>Comfortable with technology and two-way communication devices.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels and across departments.</li>
</ul>
Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform
<ul>
<li>This position requires talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.</li>
<li>Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders, reaching, including above eye level.</li>
<li>Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.</li>
<li>Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions.</li>
