ABOUT STEP PROGRAMS

The STEP (Skills, Transitions, Exploration, and Progress) program provides Partial Hospitalization services to youth ages 12-17. The goal of the STEP program is to provide intensive, short-term stabilization services to enable our clients to step down to lower levels of outpatient mental health treatment. All groups are designed to teach youth the skills necessary to help them learn about their mental health, provide psychoeducation, and help them learn skills to feel better and be safe. STEP consists of a multidisciplinary team of counselors, clinicians, a nurse, psychiatrist, and program supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Review and accept referrals to the partial hospitalization program</li>
<li>Complete initial psychiatric evaluations of clients to determine medication and treatment needs</li>
<li>Prescribe and monitor medications and provide psychiatric reassessments as needed during a client&rsquo;s enrollment</li>
<li>Provide consultation and education to treatment staff regarding medication use as part of the treatment regimen for each client during the course of their treatment in program</li>
<li>Provide coverage for other psychiatrists and other campuses as needed via telehealth</li>
<li>Maintain timely and accurate paperwork as needed, including Medi-Cal documentation</li>
<li>Additional responsibilities as by the Program Director, Assistant Program Director and/or Agency Medical Director</li></ul> 


QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

<li>Board eligibility or certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry</li>
<li>Active California Medical License, Current and Valid DEA Certificate</li>
<li>Successful completion of Seneca&rsquo;s credentialing process</li>

Provides psychiatric emergency intervention and management for consumers</li><li>

Outpatient Part Time Psychiatrist, M.D./Medical Director

Serenity Center

<div>The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMNNP) will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and

medication management services at Serenity Center. The PMHNP will work in coordination with outpatient counseling services to

provide psychiatric services to children and adult clients with behavioral health issues. The PMHNP will work

out of one or more our office sites in the NY Area. Services will initially be office-based, with

the opportunity to grow telehealth services in the future to serve clients at remote locations. The PMHNP will

work in collaboration with a Medical Assistant to coordinate client care, assist with insurance pre-authorization,

and caseload management.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Minimum Required Education:
<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing with focus on Psychiatric nursing</li></ul>
<ul><li>Graduation from a state-certified advance practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health</li></ul>

Minimum Required Experience:

What You'll Do
<ul>
<li>Conduct 60-minute psychiatry assessments and 30-minute follow-up sessions remotely.</li>
<li>Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state and federal regulations.</li>
<li>Integrate brief psychotherapy when clinically appropriate to support your clients in reaching their goals efficiently and sustainably.</li>
<li>Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership for support, escalation, and continued learning.</li>
<li>Partner with therapists and other providers through integrated care plans, shared treatment insights, and team consultation spaces.</li>
<li>Use data-informed tools and measurement-based care to tailor treatment plans and improve outcomes.</li>
<li>Contribute to a growing, diverse community of clinicians committed to redefining mental health care.</li>

What success looks like

In your first 90 days

You will become comfortable with Two Chairs systems, processes, and teams, supported by an onboarding team and clinical leadership. You will gradually build a caseload and deliver exceptional mental health care. You will collaborate with team members and help refine workflows and care protocols.
 
 
By the end of your first year

You will have established a robust caseload of clients and delivered exceptional care, as evidenced by clinical outcomes. You will have made contributions to our program and to a world where everyone has access to exceptional mental health care.

<li><ul><li>Competitive Pay: Hourly rate of $62-$96 based on clinical experience, place of residence, and overall qualifications</li>
<li>Guaranteed Onboarding Support: Earn 100% of your hourly rate during your initial 90-day ramp period while you build your caseload</li>
<li>Sustainable Base + Incentive: Following the ramp period, you'll receive a guaranteed base (80% of your hourly rate) plus an incentive structure that rewards clinical productivity and the integration of psychotherapy</li>

</ul>Who You Are
<ul>
<li>A board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)</li>
<li>Licensed to practice in California as a PMHNP (additional licensure a plus!)</li>
<li>Open to obtaining additional state licenses to support company expansion. Two Chairs covers all costs and provides full administrative support for the cross-licensing process.</li>
<li>2+ years of experience providing mental health services as a PMHNP</li>
<li>Active DEA license in California</li>
<li>Experienced in delivering remote telepsychiatry services</li>
<li>Passionate about high-quality, measurement-based, collaborative care</li>
<li>Eager to join a community of clinicians who are driven by purpose and help us build upon our psychiatry program to improve our services and systems continually</li>
<li>Able to start in September 2026</li></ul>
