FEDERAL AND STATE INCOME TAX COMPLIANCE</li><li>
Prepare federal income tax returns.</li><li>
Prepare state and local income/franchise tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax calculations.</li><li>
Manage apportionment computations, state modifications, and NOLs.</li><li>
Monitor and ensure compliance with varying filing requirements and deadlines. AUDIT SUPPORT</li><li>
Respond to tax audit inquiries, notices, and information requests. RESEARCH AND PLANNING</li><li>
Conduct research on complex tax issues, including nexus, apportionment, legislative updates, and emerging tax risks.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Required Skills / Knowledge</b></h4><ul><li>
TECHNICAL SKILLS</li><li>
Strong understanding of income/franchise tax concepts (nexus, apportionment, unitary rules, etc.).</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and common tax compliance systems. Corptax experience is a plus.</li><li>
Ability to research and interpret complex tax statutes and regulations. SOFT SKILLS</li><li>
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>
