Job Description:
 GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Metrocare programs focus on the issues that matter most in the lives of the children, families and adults we serve.
 
 
The Housing Clinical Manager ensures the housing programs are compliant with all appropriate grant regulations and for the oversight of the clinical team providing service delivery to program participants. The Housing Clinical Manager is responsible for ensuring that the assigned team and housing programs routinely achieve the expectations of the agency and the grants. The Housing Clinical Manager ensures all programs complete and maintain any reporting, documentation, and data requirements.
 
 
HOURS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Monday &ndash; Friday 8 am &ndash; 5 pm, nights and weekends as needed and On-Call phone rotation. 
 
 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<ul><li>Provides general supervision over the Housing clinical staff.
</li><li>Directly supervises management and team leads in the overall service delivery model.
</li><li>Provides guidance, direction, and supervision to staff to ensure quality care and implementation of processes.
</li><li>Fosters an environment of continuous quality improvement (CQI). Ensures that an on-going CQI process is developed and implemented and provides oversight to the CQI process.
</li><li>Develops and implements strategies for performance improvement related to key performance indicators, including but not limited to, engagement of caseloads, charting timeliness, and quality improvement.
</li><li>Responsible for program planning, interagency relations, and resource development.
</li><li>Maintains knowledge of and complies with established policies and procedures including grant regulations, the Fair Housing Act, and general contractual requirements.
</li><li>Attends administrative meetings and participates in committees as requested. Conducts special projects and studies as directed.

</li><li>Provides clear and timely communication to the Housing Director of all program&rsquo;s critical issues
</li><li>Ensures completion of weekly reporting according to Continuous Operations Improvement guidelines and is pro-active in developing solutions around exceptions.
</li><li>Adheres to documentation requirements related to Quality Management and regulatory agencies, such as CARF, CCBHC, and the Texas Administrative Code.
</li><li>Responsible for a creative collaborative working environment in conjunction with the Housing Operations Manager.
</li><li>Provides clinical supervision, education and training as required by various contracts and regulatory agencies.
</li><li>Establishes and maintains the highest standard of quality care and ethical practice.
</li><li>Participate in the hiring and supervision of site staff.
</li><li>Schedules interview appointments with hiring managers and the candidates.
</li><li>Exercises sound judgement and maintains current knowledge of the company&rsquo;s organization structure, personnel policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

QUALIFICATIONS
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
<ul><li>Required: Master&rsquo;s degree in social work, Psychology, Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
</li><li>Required: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in mental health, including a minimum of 5 years in management.
</li>Preference will be given to candidates holding advanced licensure such as Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Certified Social Worker.
