In this role, the Purchasing Intern will work with the Purchasing Team to assist in seeking out new trade partners, reviewing bids, setting up analysis and/or budget worksheets, estimating and providing takeoffs, reviewing scopes of work, and flagging contract holes. 
Other responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Understanding cost reductions, cost recommendations, and model rebates</li><li>
Processing custom options</li><li>
Building relationships with regionally contracted vendors</li><li>
Gaining exposure in trade description contracting</li><li>
Updating contracts</li></ul>
This position will be on-site 5 days per week.
