The ideal candidate must have a strong command of quality control of RCC structural and finishing works, with proven hands-on experience on large-scale building projects.</p><p><b>Job Responsibilities</b></p><p>A. Implement, manage, and enforce QA/QC procedures in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality requirements.</p><p>B. The Role</b></div><div>

The Sr Manager also manages risk, insurances, general work performance and quality, and overall team progress against the project plan through consistent communication and collaboration with the owner and project team members.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Accountable for the guarantee of the quality of work performed as well as meeting the project's contractual quality requirements set forth by the client</li><li>
Represent Suffolk with Owner(s), Architects, Consultants, Government Authorities, Vendors and Subcontractors</li><li>
Establish a strong relationship with all stakeholders to ensure that all potential and actual quality issues are fully resolved</li><li>
Ensure compliance with stringent contract and owner quality requirements</li><li>
Monitor and/or prepare comprehensive project specific QA/QC plans</li><li>
Review and update QC punch lists and coordinate punch list completion with GC and subcontractors</li><li>
Verify the implementation and operation of the quality assurance and control systems by planning and conducting internal quality audits and inspection of activities on-site</li><li>
Ensure implementation and continuous improvement in overall Quality Systems</li><li>
Review, update, and verify the distribution of the Quality Management Procedure, Quality Manual, and related procedures for Infrastructure, MEP, Civil, and other subcontractors</li><li>
Ensure that the contractual quality requirements of a project are fully communicated to all key personnel, so that their roles in fulfilling these requirements are fully understood</li><li>
Prepare PowerPoint decks and present to management on progress, findings, and recommendations.</li><li>
Conduct reviews of the approved suppliers and subcontractors' list.</li><li>
Liaise with the General Contractor, Client, and Project Management team to ensure that all potential and actual quality issues are fully resolved</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in construction management, Engineering or applicable discipline and experience related to project size/scope</li><li>
15-20 years of construction quality management experience</li><li>
Experience working as a QA/QC Manager for large Commercial, Industrial, or Mission-Critical Facilities construction projects</li><li>
Ability to ensure correct codes, standards, job specifications, project procedures, and federal and provincial regulations are properly identified, correctly specified in detail, and met or exceeded</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to understand technical and complicated construction programs and the ability to communicate progress to both technical and management-level personnel</li><li>
Ability to develop and manage non-conformance, deficiencies, and reporting programs, including root cause analysis</li><li>
Excellent business judgment demonstrated by consistently achieving profitability objectives and strong project close-outs with client and subcontractor relationships in good standing</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail evidenced by a strong command of all applicable contract and legal provisions</li><li>
Ability to consistently analyze and execute financial trade-offs which frequently involve dealing with incomplete data and ambiguity</li><li>
Ability to constantly multi-task and handle competing priorities between Suffolk business needs, organizational issues, and sound customer relations</li><li>
Possess judgment to know when to appropriately escalate issues up the chain of command</li><li>
A strong sense of urgency and initiative</li><li>

The expected salary range for this position (Senior Safety Manager) in USVI is between $113,500 and $156,000 USD. This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Suffolk&rsquo;s total compensation package.
