 SUMMARY
 
 
 
 
 
 
 The QS Engineer will be responsible for all post-contract quantity surveying functions including measurement, valuation, variations, interim payments, claims, and final account settlement. Ensures that all contractual and commercial matters are properly administered in line with the company&rsquo;s policies, project requirements, and applicable contract conditions.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 ROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

 Administer post-contract activities in line with the contract conditions (FIDIC / bespoke forms).
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare, review, and certify interim payment applications and invoices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate and negotiate variations, change orders, and claims from subcontractors and suppliers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records of contract correspondence, instructions, and variations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in the preparation of extension of time (EOT) and cost claims with proper substantiation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and finalize subcontractor accounts including variations and final settlement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the project team in commercial and contractual matters during execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor project costs against budgets, highlighting any potential risks or overruns.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in contract reviews, progress meetings, and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with company procedures, policies, and applicable laws.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare final account submissions and assist in dispute resolution if required.

 REQUIREMENTS

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
 </li>

 5-7 years of experience in QS roles within fit-out or construction projects.

 Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
