The Housing Incentives division offers tax credits, tax incentives, and zoning bonuses in order to facilitate affordable housing development. Housing Incentives&rsquo; Compliance and Enforcement (C&amp;E) division investigates and takes enforcement action against building owners receiving these benefits who fail to comply with applicable state and local laws, codes, and regulations, as well as agency regulatory agreements.<br>

Your Role:<br>
<br>
Your role will be to assist the division in ensuring compliance of buildings with valuable benefits, under the direction of the Assistant Commissioner (AC) of Compliance &amp; Enforcement. You serve as the agency&rsquo;s subject matter expert on compliance and enforcement of tax incentives and will investigate and take enforcement action against non-compliant building owners. Cases focus on violations of statutory requirements, including, but not limited to, rent registration and affordability requirements, as well as violations of Regulatory Agreements. These investigations regularly involve coordination with other city and state agencies; you may assist the AC in liaising with these agencies. Additionally, the attorney will investigate allegations that are referred from both internal and external sources. The attorney will also participate in drafting and reviewing legislation that affects the division&rsquo;s compliance and enforcement efforts. Additionally, you will assist the Assistant Commissioner and other senior staff with agency reporting requirements on compliance cases handled by the division.<br>

Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br>

<ul><li>Receive and analyze complaints of non-compliance from within HPD, including Inclusionary Housing and Tax Incentive Programs, and from outside HPD, to determine whether sanctions or other penalties such as a revocation of benefits should be imposed</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Investigate complaints by collecting facts from public sources, property owners, and residents</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Make legal recommendations as to extent of violations and appropriate remedies</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Prepare appropriate legal documents to prosecute violations or revoke benefits</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Resolve cases through negotiated settlement, administrative proceedings or, with other agencies, court proceedings, including a small number of appearances before OATH</li></ul><br>

CASES is a New York City agency at the forefront of the intersection between behavioral health and the criminal justice system. Our mission is to increase public safety through innovative services that reduce crime and incarceration, improve behavioral health, promote recovery and rehabilitation, and create opportunities for success in the community. The CASES Court services department services court mandates or endorsed programming at all points in the criminal legal process. CASES operates, alternative to detention (ATD) and alternative to incarceration (ATI) community based programs that are facilitated by the NYS Office of Court Administration (OCA) judiciary. CASES interfaces with multiple stakeholders to support these ATD and ATI program options for thousands of defendants in multiple boroughs. Specifically the arraignment team screens approximately 10,000 defendants a year for ATD and ATI programs, Supervised Releasee and newSTART. Additionally, the ATI intake assessment team screens 500 amount per year to divert people into 3 (three) CASES community based programs, Reframing Opportunity Alternatives and Resilience (ROAR), Nathaniel Community Success (NCS) and Nathaniel Assertive Community Treatment (NACT). All Court services teams are dedicated to the CASES mission and facilitating release and positive court outcomes.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Job Description:

To assist in managing and directing of all Housekeeping functions. To participate in quality assurance for Housekeeping department and department cost control measures. To provide support to the Executive and Asst. Executive Housekeeper in all areas of the Housekeeping Operation. To ensure Omni standards are met in all areas by monitoring quality assurance, and consistently setting a good example.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provides courteous, personalized, attentive, sincere, consistent Guest Service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, request &amp; Complaints using Guest Service Skills. Exhibiting hospitality while striving to exceed Guest expectations.</li><li>Resolves difficult or unusual problems arising with Guests, while maintaining good Guest relationships, demonstrating outstanding hospitality through the corrective action taken.</li><li>Maintains open and clear communication with all departments and guests to ensure consistent service.</li><li>Identify ways of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our service to guests by actively participating in the Omni Service Tradition program.</li><li>Assists Executive Housekeeper with all of the following departmental functions and concerns: assist with opening and the PM shift, maintaining turnover to an acceptable level, maintaining uniform control, purchasing and issuance, guest requests, monthly meetings, quality assurance in public space and guest rooms, linen and supply inventories, purchasing linen and supplies when needed, assist with scheduling, kronos and payroll cost controls.</li><li>Monitor Housekeeping inventories to ensure adequate levels are maintained.</li><li>Maintaining close communication and interaction with Front Desk and Engineering departments, reporting all maintenance issues.</li><li>Inspects the cleaning and servicing of all guestrooms, and inspects all vacant rooms on a daily basis.</li><li>Prepare and complete all reports needed. VIP&rsquo;s, Due-Out&rsquo;s V/D&rsquo;s etc.</li><li>Identifies all cleaning defects and reassigns them to the responsible GRA. Completes a full inspection form for each GRA and forwards them to the Executive Housekeeper on a daily basis.</li><li>Responsible for overseeing the Housemen, ensuring that they are working appropriately with GRA&rsquo;s, and that they are completing all daily housemen duties/special projects.</li><li>Participates in energy conservation efforts.</li><li>Respects Hotel property and work areas by keeping them clean, well maintained, stocked, and properly stored. Eliminates waste of supplies.</li><li>Assists in maintaining Omni standards of cleanliness and a consistent guestroom/guest experience.</li><li>Assists in maintaining a highly motivated and trained staff that continually strives for excellence, in service and cleanliness.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Prior Housekeeping Supervisory Experience in Hospitality.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED / College Degree preferred.</li><li>Must be highly motivated and have the ability to Multi-task.</li><li>Must be able to work independently.</li><li>Must have the ability to lead, motivate and develop others.</li></ul></div>
