Job Purpose

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The QA/QC Engineer / Inspector is responsible for inspecting all repair and refurbishment works and verifying compliance with SUEZ-issued method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), approved material specifications and contract requirements. The role is the primary quality assurance interface between SUEZ and the repair contractor, ensuring that completed works meet the required standard before acceptance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
&ndash;Review and comment on ITPs submitted by the repair contractor for each repair method &mdash; including CIPP relining, joint sealing, patch repairs, manhole rehabilitation and grouting. 
&ndash;Conduct pre-repair inspections to verify that repair zones have been correctly identified, isolated and prepared in accordance with approved method statements. 
&ndash;Witness and document ITP hold points and witness points &mdash; including pre-repair condition surveys, material delivery and quality checks, and post-repair CCTV verification. 
&ndash;Inspect completed repairs and verify conformance with the approved method statement, material specification and engineering drawings issued by SUEZ. 
&ndash;Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any works that deviate from the approved method, specification or quality standard &mdash; tracking through to resolution and close-out. 
&ndash;Review contractor material submittals and Method Statements &mdash; confirming that proposed materials hold valid third-party certification and are suitable for the application. 
&ndash;Review post-repair CCTV inspection footage and reports to confirm that repairs have achieved the required standard. 
&ndash;Maintain a complete QA/QC records register &mdash; including ITP sign-offs, material delivery records, inspection reports, NCRs and post-repair CCTV verification records. 
&ndash;Provide QA/QC input to monthly progress reports &mdash; summarising inspection activities, pass/fail rates, outstanding NCRs and recurring quality issues. 
&ndash;Liaise with the Quantity Surveyor to ensure no uninspected works are accepted for payment. 
&ndash;Support the technical team in identifying recurring repair failures or quality patterns that may require methodology revision. 
&ndash;Ensure all quality records are properly filed in the project document management system.
Who we are looking for
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE<div>
&ndash;Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical or equivalent discipline from a recognized university. 
&ndash;Minimum 6 years of post-graduate experience, of which at least 3 years in QA/QC inspection or supervision on infrastructure or utility network projects. 
&ndash;Demonstrable experience in developing, reviewing and implementing ITPs and Method Statements. 
&ndash;Experience with CIPP relining, pipe rehabilitation or underground utility repair works is strongly preferred. 
&ndash;Familiarity with CCTV sewer inspection interpretation and post-repair verification.

Assistant Resident Engineer - Civil Infrastructure (Island Development Project)

Servco Facility Management

Prepare technical and incident report with basic root-cause details to line manager.<ul><li>Update systems with work orders and asset data.</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance logs for all building systems.</li><li>Record preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance in whole operations.</li><li>Prepare monthly operational reports and track service requests, work orders, and vendor activities.</li><li>Document shift handovers and site transfer reports.</li><li>Ensure all documentation meets company, client, and regulatory requirements.</li></ul>Project and Vendor Management<ul><li>Plan and schedule project activities with operations and maintenance teams.</li><li>Review projects, specifications, and scopes for compliance.</li><li>Manage vendors and contractors across all FM services.</li><li>Review and approve work submissions, invoices, and reports.</li><li>Conduct site inspections and quality checks</li><li>Support procurement, vendor selection, track budgets and control project costs.</li><li>Resolve technical issues between vendors and internal teams.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Certified Facility Engineer; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.</li><li>3&ndash;7 years of experience in Facilities Management or building operations.</li><li>Strong understanding of MEP systems and FM project workflows.</li><li>Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers</li></ul>Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per monthLicense/Certification:<ul><li>UAE Driving License (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
