We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for our First Quality Home Care Products facility located in Salt Lake City, UT. This position provides testing and other quality-related services to internal customers and ultimately assures product quality, integrity, and safety to the consumer under the direction of the QA Team Manager and QA management. 
Primary responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Collect and perform analytical testing on finished products and check finished products for any defects incurred during the packaging process.</li><li>

Operate standard construction material laboratory testing equipment and ensure proper maintenance.</li><li>
Perform calculations and analyses to verify test data accuracy.</li><li>
Conduct various construction material tests as per applicable standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Clean, maintain, and calibrate lab equipment for optimal performance.</li><li>
Prepare QC Laboratory documents, including work procedures, ITP (Inspection &amp; Test Plans), QAP (Quality Assurance Plan), checklists, and other required formats.</li><li>
Coordinate with contractors for field testing, pre/post-concrete inspections, and necessary approvals.</li><li>
Collect soil samples from designated points, ensure proper drying and sieving, and prepare them for required tests.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications &amp; Skills:</h3><ul><li>
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.</li><li>
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction material testing or a similar role.</li><li>
Knowledge of soil mechanics, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.</li><li>
Strong understanding of laboratory testing procedures and quality control standards.</li><li>
Ability to operate and maintain testing equipment effectively.</li><li>
Proficiency in documenting and analyzing test results.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>
Familiarity with applicable industry standards (ASTM, AASHTO, BS, or equivalent).</li><li>
Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting software).</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">

Willingness to work on-site and in laboratory environments.</li><li>
