 The Quality Engineer will be based in Saudi Arabia. In this position, you will report to the QA/QC Manager. We seek a detail-oriented, experienced Quality Control engineer to ensure smooth production lines generating a consistently top-notch output of products that meet efficiency and quality standards. To be successful as a QC Engineer, you must understand the customer's requirements and coordinate employee efforts between management and the production teams with excellent communication, observational and analytical skills and a demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance.

 Support QC Manager to Develop quality-process links with customers in line with the Quality Management system (including: TS16949, ISO14001 / ISO 9001 / OHAS 18001) Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Controls Plans, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) processes and oversee continued compliance and embedding across the business. Responsible for maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers to maximize profit potential and ensure efficiency. Manage the audit program as well as supplier development and improvement and play a key role in ensuring project deliveries. Work proactively with all Directors, Managers, Supervisors and Employees, to maintain a program of continual improvement within their areas of responsibility. Lead a &lsquo;correct at source&rsquo; and problem-solving methodology (Lean). Work to achieve quality targets for customers and business goals.

   Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.

We are ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified.</p><p>Position Summary</p><p>The Quality Assurance Engineer ensures compliance with established procedures, industry regulations, and customer requirements through document review, audits, and facilitation of risk, data, and root cause analysis. This role is hands-on and cross-functional, working closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain and improve our quality management system.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes, equipment standards, and product quality for existing and new products in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Create and refine methods to inspect, test, and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment.</li><li>Lead root cause analysis, testing, and verification activities in response to nonconformances; develop and implement corrective action plans.</li><li>Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming products; participate in Material Review Board (MRB) disposition decisions.</li><li>Manage supplier quality activities including onboarding, evaluation, and nonconformance resolution.</li><li>Collaborate with production personnel to analyze and verify the capability of production processes and vendor-supplied parts and services.</li><li>Conduct analysis of production data to identify trends and drive process improvement initiatives.</li><li>Assist with internal and external audits of the quality management system and company processes.</li><li>Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection procedures, work instructions, and process workflows.</li><li>Train and support production and administrative staff on quality processes and requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.</li></ul><p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and hands-on manufacturing quality experience will be considered.</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO quality system standards (ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485).</li><li>Experience with NCRs, bills of materials, engineering blueprints/specifications, and inventory control systems.</li><li>Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (experience with Infor VISUAL is a plus).</li><li>Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering design drawings, technical plans, and reports.</li><li>Experience with the use and calibration of mechanical measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauge blocks, plug gauges, thread gauges, ring gauges, air gauges, and optical comparators.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and apply statistical concepts.</li><li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare reports and present information clearly.</li><li>Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Experience with Keyence inspection systems.</li><li>Familiarity with project management techniques and tools.</li><li>ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, or similar).</li><li>Experience in medical device or aerospace manufacturing environments.</li><li>Lean Six Sigma training or certification.</li></ul><p>Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment</p><p>This role involves frequent sitting and walking with occasional standing, reaching, and lifting.
