<ul><li>The Project Quality Lead is responsible for development of the Quality Program and accountable for the independent surveillance and audit of the project for compliance with procedures and requirements, as well as the documentation of compliance and corrective actions. The Project Quality Lead performs these activities independent of the design/project/construction group responsible for the work.
</li><li>The Project Quality Lead works closely with the Portfolio Delivery Manager and advises him of the status of quality-related activities.
</li><li>The Project Quality Lead assists the Portfolio Delivery Manager in the maintenance and updating of the Contract Project Quality Plan and other quality related project documents. As directed by the Portfolio Delivery Manager, the Project Quality Lead will perform other quality related audits and surveys.

The Quality Lead plays a critical role in ensuring that aluminum products meet EMS and customer specifications. This position involves inspecting and testing raw materials, in-process components, and finished products, conducting quality tests, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within EMS distribution and manufacturing environments.

Our Coyote Missile On-site Program Quality Lead (PQL) in Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS), will oversee Quality in U.S. and foreign programs within the Coyote portfolio at our Tucson, AZ location. In this role, you'll drive a robust quality culture, practices, and collaboration efforts.
As the primary quality interface for the product Integrated Product Team (IPT), you'll be responsible for ensuring the program meets all Quality &amp; Mission Assurance requirements. This includes coordinating with functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and overseeing scope of work through all integrated product development phases, from design to production and sustainment. You&rsquo;ll be the customer&rsquo;s advocate internal to the team, ensuring we meet our obligations and expectations.
The PQL shall monitor quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with integrated teams to enforce process rigor, transition to production activities, you will conduct Production Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), First Article Inspection, and Quality Control Plan efforts and play a key role in Material Review Board (MRB), Change Control Board (CCB), and Risk Review Board (RRB).
The PQL will be responsible for ensuring reviews and assessments of program performance are performed, including technical assessments of systems, lessons learned, technology, and programmatic (cost, schedule, and risks and/or defects) practices assuring Quality management System (QMS) processes are defined and implemented.
This is an &ldquo;onsite&rdquo; role in Tucson, AZ.
What You Will Do:<ul><li>
Develop partnerships with senior leaders, IPTs, customers, and quality functions of the program team to define steps necessary to implement proactive quality strategies that shape Raytheon&rsquo;s ability to become the provider of choice.</li><li>
Engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers.</li><li>
Generation of new CORE (Customer Oriented Result and Excellence), CoPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) projects to reduce costs/increase efficiency of the Stinger program.</li><li>
Monitor / lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues and to ensure extensive RCCA.</li><li>
Support implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable.</li></ul>
Qualifications You Must Have:<ul><li>
Typically requires a bachelor&rsquo;s degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of prior relevant experience.</li><li>
Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.</li><li>
Working experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action.</li><li>
Working experience in providing technical program support for manufacturing and/or design processes.</li><li>
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.</li></ul>

Six Sigma, Lean, and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications</li><li>
Experienced team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement.</li><li>
Experience Reviewing Statement of Work (SOW), Corrective Action Requests (CAR)</li><li>
Experience interfacing directly with customers</li><li>
Experience presenting, reviewing and/or approving changes through a formal Change Control Board (CCB).</li><li>
Experience exercising judgement and apply resolution-making skills with appropriate supervisory intervention.</li><li>
Experience in risk mitigation and opportunity management.</li><li>
Experience translating system requirements and contractual requirements to ensure full compliance is flowed down through product, assembly, and test documentation.</li><li>
Experience applying interpersonal skills and working with customers, suppliers, and in a team environment.</li><li>
Experience in First Article Inspections per AS9102.</li><li>
Experience with performance to cost, schedule, and technical performance including Cost Accounting Methodologies (Earned Value).</li><li>
Experience with one or more of the following: Rockets/Missiles, Electro Optical/RADAR systems, manufacturing of electrical systems and testing, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) requirements, CCA manufacturing to IPC/EIA JSTD-001, Class 3.</li></ul>

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Basic Job Functions:</h2></div><div> 
The Quality Lead responsibilities include but are not limited to, overseeing all aspects of quality, including fit and function, along with documentation compliance. Serves as the facility's Leadership Representative on his/her respective shift. Assisting team members with interpreting shop drawings, QMS requirements, and customer specifications, including obtaining clarification from other functions to ensure that quality requirements are understood and met. Help execute the overall quality strategy to meet the Design of Steel Transmission Pole Structures (ASCE48), the American Welding Society D1.1 requirements, and Nucor Towers and Structures objectives.

 Support the implementation of quality management systems, best practices, and processes</li><li>
Contain, evaluate, and disposition nonconforming products; investigate the root cause of nonconformances.</li><li>
 Assist team members with completing any certifications necessary to perform their duties.</li><li>
Train the team on quality requirements, procedures, testing, and usage of measuring tools</li><li>
 Identify potential areas of risk and make recommendations for solutions.</li><li>
 Identify process improvement initiatives and help execute projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC)</li><li>

 5+ years of experience with AISC or ISO quality systems.</li><li>
 Ability to interpret codes and standards, shop drawings, and customer specifications.</li><li>
