Project Engineer who will be responsible for managing quantity surveying for major and extension projects shall undertake the following actions based on the project contract documents, approved documents on material submittals &amp; method statements:</div>
 <div><ul><li>Monitor all the cost and contractual aspect and report to the Client
</li><li>Provide the required technical support, assistance and advice on all aspects of quantity surveying activities covering measurement, certification and payments
</li><li>Collect and check quantity measurements from the project site and Prepare the Quantity Survey Reports
</li><li>Prepare of monthly Contractor&rsquo;s Interim Payment Certificate and preparation of Final Account
</li><li>Assist in the interpretation of the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents, and analysis of any claims which may be submitted by the contractor.
</li><li>Review claims submitted by the contractor
</li><li>Ensure that full documentation and records are maintained in the Client&rsquo;s office facility to properly substantiate all Interim and Final Payments to the contractor to a standard acceptable to the Client.
</li><li>Ensure materials utilised at project site confirming to approved make and prepare report in case on non-conformance
</li><li>Co-ordination with project managers</li></ul></div>
 <div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering or related field.
</li><li>Professional engineering license preferred.
</li><li>In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
</li><li>Proven experience in project management and team leadership.

 About The Job
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Verify that all invoices are supported by duly approved purchase orders when applicable, signed receiving documentation and/or the approval of authorized management personnel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure invoices have relevant documents such as PO, GRN, Service Report, Contract etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify invoices to check the unit of issue. Unit price, quantity, extension against the hotel purchase order and receiving advice.
 </li>
 <li>
 Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger account and submit to Chief Accountant for verification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Obtain approval for invoices from the appropriate department prior to processing the invoice on the accounts payable system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure invoices without relevant supporting documents are approved by respective Department Heads or Division Heads
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure invoices are correctly posted into Accounting system either manually or through the upload file from Purchasing system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain approved up-to-date vendor/supplier database on the accounts payable system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Print &amp; submit cheques with all supporting documents to the Director of Finance &amp; General Manager for their signatures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare manual cheques as they are required if directed by the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a close working relationship with the purchasing, receiving and cost control staff.

 Requirements

 Senior School qualification or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Degree or Diploma in Finance
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 1-2 years&rsquo; experience in accounting with at least 1 year in a similar capacity
 </li>
 <li>
 Experienced in POS and PMS Systems (Opera / PSMS / Info Genesis / Micros)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experienced in Accounting System (SUN System)
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, word)
