 The designee is responsible for guiding and assisting host nation in the overall ATC facility operations the designee is responsible for managing the overall ATC radar or tower facility operations, as well as directly supervising and administering all training activities. The designee is responsible for the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic within their designated airspace. Rules of separation must be applied to achieve the required separation as outlined in FAA manuals and orders. The designee coordinates with various controllers and personnel to relay information which pertains to the aircraft and in the interest of safety of flight including emergency information. The designee will be familiar with tower operations and apply the required separation of aircraft. The individual is responsible for vehicles and personnel operating on the airfield. The individual is responsible for all facility training development and implementation, including but not limited to Position Certification Guides, facility tests, monthly/annual/recurring/supplemental/review training, and controller position/annual evaluations. The designee is required to maintain facility ratings. Along with controlling aircraft the designee must be able to process flight plans and supervise approach, departure, and arrival procedures. The designee will have a full working knowledge of control tower operations and flight planning and a fundamental knowledge of RADAR/Manual approach control operations.
 
 
 
 Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

 Graduate of an approved DoD or FAA ATC course.

 Eight (8) years of experience, two (2) years ATC management experience, one (1) year of experience must be from performing in a like type facility. Experience related to training, planning, organizing, and directing other personnel in ATC activities. Knowledge of ATC rules, regulations, and techniques; control tower and approach control operations. Tower controllers shall hold one of the following tower certifications: FAA Control Tower Operator (CTO) certificate, FAA or AOV Credential with Tower rating, or equivalent. Radar controllers shall hold one of the following radar certifications: Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) certificate, FAA or AOV Credential with Radar rating, FAA or DoD training records, or equivalent.

IERUS Technologies, Inc., is seeking a Computer Operator to join a diverse and flexible team. The individual will support Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Integrated Ground Tests (GTIs), Distributed Ground Tests (GTDs), and Flight Test (FT) events. This position is contingent upon award of work.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Support the installation and checkout of radar mission data and test scenarios;</li><li>
Perform analysis of radar systems using simulation software, comparing simulation results against test case design descriptions and test objectives;</li><li>
Document and communicate simulation software anomalies/errors;</li><li>
Participate in CONOPs, Radar Operator Procedure Development, and Lessons Learned reviews and documentation;</li><li>
Generate Quick-Look reports, perform data reductions, and communicate post-test product readiness to analysts and mission leads;</li><li>
Operate and sustain the radar representations in the formal BMDS ground test laboratories;</li><li>
Interface with the Test Execution Controller (TEC) or Mission Manager during test events;</li><li>

Monitors navigational aids and monitors control panels, including BRITE display to determine acceptability of its alignment and display presentation. Instructs pilots to change radio frequencies/radar beacon codes.3. When appropriate, coordinates with the other controllers on movements of both arrival and departure aircraft.4. When traffic conditions warrant, controllers in nonapproach terminals are responsible for:a. Preplanning traffic sequencing and separation over an area which may reach out to a radius of 5 miles or more.b. Preplanning and setting up check points required to ensure the maintenance of necessary traffic separation.c. Maintaining a continuous mental picture and evaluation of a constantly changing traffic complex frequency dispersed over an equivalent geographic area.d. Maintaining continuous radio watch with aircraft which have previously contacted the facility.e. Accepting responsibility to handle IFR traffic at his/her airport.5. Studies weather bureau reports and forecasts, obtains LAWRS/SAWRS weather certification, observes weather from the tower and records pilot reports to determine the effect of present and anticipated weather on traffic; furnishes aircraft with information such as field conditions, altimeter settings, weather conditions, operating status of navigational aids, and observed malfunctioning of aircraft; forwards to the weather bureau and the appropriate center, pilot weather reports and reports based upon personal observation of weather conditions; operates light guns, runway lights, field lighting, jet barriers etc.6. Orients pilots of aircraft lost or in difficulty; determines whether a given situation may develop into an emergency; and notifies airlines operations offices, airport management offices, and fire and ambulance services.7. Performs lower grade level duties as necessary to meet operational requirements and for proficiency maintenance.8. Provides OJT training to others.RequirementsIndividual must have a CTO Certificate and a current Class II Medical Certificate. Position is subject to drug testing per the DOT/FAA requirements (pre-employment, random, periodic, probable cause, post accident).
