Job Summary:
<ul><li>Supervises Hardware and Software Specialists (both employees and sub-contractors). Manages and performs repair and maintenance of all ACMI Hardware and Software Equipment and Subsystems to the required technical standards and carries out duties within the Repair Facility as well as in the Flight Operations Areas.</li><li>
Regularly interfaces on-site with all levels of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Command Teams as required.</li><li>
In addition the candidate supports exercises and performs additional duties as both a Digital Display System Operator (DDSO) and Hardware Repair Specialist (Pod Tech).</li><li>
Meets all contractual reporting obligations to the customer to include but not limited to weekly, monthly and annual status reports on servicability of equipment, availability of equipment, availability and success of equipment during training exercises.</li><li>

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Supervise ACMI support staff including Pod Techs and DDSOs (employees, sub-contractors and RSAF personnel assigned to support ACMI).</li><li>
Oversee and perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all assigned electronic equipment.</li><li>
Reads and interprets schematic, parts/wire diagrams, established test instructions/procedures, and customer specifications to determine required test equipment</li><li>
Provide exceptional customer service to the RSAF during issue and receipt of ACMI equipment, including preparation of equipment for issue as well as documenting all return of equipment providing 100% accountability of the serviceability and operability of the ACMI equipment at all times.</li><li>
Operate and update the warehouse database for ACMI tracking and reports to ensure 100% parts availability and maintenance timeliness statistics are provided as required.</li><li>
Manage and run the Warehouse and Workshop Repair departments on a day to day basis and plan resources in line with Company and RSAF operational needs.</li><li>
Lead, motivate and develop all ACMI employees to achieve current and future business needs.</li><li>
Produce a resources coverage plan for issue, maintenance and repair during exercise periods.</li><li>
Control, monitor and audit equipment shipping and receipts.</li><li>
Monitor, review and evaluate all work practices and administrative procedures for the ACMI Warehouse and Workshop Repair employees.</li><li>
Produce weekly, monthly, and annual reports in accordance with contractual obligations to the RSAF and the Program Manager.</li><li>
Conducts regular Workshop &amp; Warehouse inventories in compliance with RSAF and company policies</li><li>
Daily Oversee and Maintain 100% accountability of all Classified Documents, Equipment and associated tools, establishing a culture of vigilance overseeing and performing 100% of all Security Checks, and providing regular and on-the-spot Classification Security Training of all employees and subcontractors in the ACMI areas.</li><li>
Provides immediate responsiveness to all Security or Classification Inquiries in compliance with all governmental and company requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>
Work as one team and support colleagues with their duties when required to ensure the successful provision of service to the customer</li><li>

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate&rsquo;s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Role Overview</div><div>
The Field Service Technician will deliver highly visible customer support through on-site servicing, maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of complex CVI equipment and systems. This role acts as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customer sites and plays a key role in ensuring system performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.</div>

Responsibilities:<ul><li><ul><li> 
Provide field service engineering support for Cargo Vehicle Inspection (CVI) scanning systems</li><li>Carry out system repairs, preventive maintenance, and fault-finding on CVI systems and subsystems</li><li>Act as the customer&rsquo;s assigned technical Point of Contact (POC)</li><li>Organise and execute scheduled maintenance and repairs on cargo systems including M60, T60, P60 ZBX, ZBV, Z-Portal, and T25</li><li>Support Mercedes-based service vehicle requirements, including oil changes, filters, and general upkeep</li><li>Provide 3rd line technical support to site engineers and customer representatives, both verbally and in writing</li><li>Deliver defect liability and post-acceptance support for CVI equipment</li><li>Instruct customers on system operation and maintenance</li><li>Complete technical documentation including service reports, engineering change requests, and service data entry into internal systems</li><li>Ensure all issued equipment (vehicles, tools, spares, consumables, and test equipment) is maintained safely and correctly</li><li>Uphold Rapiscan Systems&rsquo; core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork</li></ul></li></ul>

BTEC, City &amp; Guilds, HNC, or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline</li><li>Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems</li><li>Experience with integrated IT systems including PLCs, high-voltage systems, and/or radar</li><li>Knowledge of IT networking solutions (CCNP or similar preferred)</li><li>Experience with low-voltage systems, CCTV, UVIS, and hydraulic systems</li><li>Willingness to work in a field-based role supporting critical security infrastructure</li></ul></li></ul><div>
