SUMMARY</b></div><div>
The On-Air Co-Host is responsible for creating, producing, and communicating via broadcast and online distribution systems, spiritually encouraging, Christian based content and conversation, interacting with listeners, news, interviews, weather, traffic, devotionals, and other matters of interest. Represents the ministry to the community in multiple ways &ndash; in-person and on-location. Develops creative and compelling content that helps AGC achieve its mission and vision.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></div><ul><li>
Maintains an engaging, conversational on-air presence at all times.</li><li>
Plays music, spots, and various elements on the air from numerous pieces of equipment and software delivering compelling, interactive, spiritually uplifting, and entertaining live content in real-time over the air from our broadcast studios and at times on location.</li><li>
In the absence of the lead host, the co-host must be capable of assuming all on-air responsibilities; either solo, or with a temporary co-host.</li><li>
Substitutes for other on-air hosta at other times of the day when requested.</li><li>
Produces, writes, records, and edits (using multitrack digital editor) short feature programs, spots, bits, and elements for broadcast.</li><li>
Engages listeners through story-telling, and focused calls to action, in giving during multiple on-air fundraising events each year</li><li>

Collaborates with co-host, producer, assistant and program director to create timely program content.</li><li>
Engages in the talent and voice coaching process.</li><li>
Attends and guides daily production meetings &ndash; listening to and analyzing the days delivered content and prepares for the following day.</li><li>
Operates numerous pieces of office, radio broadcast, remote broadcast, and audio editing software and equipment.</li><li>
Answers phone calls, records, edits, and determines what should and shouldn&rsquo;t be aired.</li><li>

Hosts and presents upfront at various community functions and events, including schools, churches, and community organizations.</li><li>

Works as talent in front of the camera writing and recording features such as devotionals, promotional content, interviews, games with guests, short form and long form.</li><li>
Develops creative contests and issues prizes to winners in accordance with FCC regulations and AGC procedures.</li><li>
Develops, produces, and distributes written, video, audio, and graphical content daily via a variety of social media platforms and websites.</li><li>
Adjusts content at the direction of Program Director, research and feedback.</li><li>
Considers the target audience in all content decisions and delivery.</li><li>
Invests time in getting to know the target audience and spends time with them at station events, by giving station tours, by talking with them in the online (incoming and outgoing).</li><li>
Communicates via email, phone, and in person with financial donors, and people of influence.</li><li>
Participates in designing and executing ways of growing our listener contact list.</li><li>
Ensures that the WGTS 91.9 transmitter is operating within FCC-determined parameters, adjusting transmitter power when necessary or shutting down the system completely if conditions require it.</li><li>
Runs broadcasting tests as requested by the chief engineer.</li><li>
Ensures FCC compliance (e.g. IDs, profanity).</li><li>
Supports the engineering team as needed when troubleshooting studio equipment issues.</li><li>
Reports dead air or system problems immediately.</li><li>
Develops a general understanding of the central equipment rack as requested by the chief engineer.</li><li>
Monitors the on-air broadcast and the online Netcast at the beginning of each shift for delivery stability.</li><li>
Monitors for EAS alerts; record and air as directed.</li><li>
Serves as spokesperson for WGTS 91.9 at partner meetings and events as requested.</li><li>
Assists in other media activities as requested.</li><li>
Attends and presents at various fundraising events, including networking with donors.</li><li>
Participates in departmental and organization meetings as requested.</li><li>
Maintains a broader media and a specific CCM industry awareness.</li><li>
Develops and pitches creative ideas to the Program Director for improving the broadcast, and expanding the reach.</li><li>
Fosters an environment of professional development.</li><li>
Contributes to the broader AGC team effort to encourage our listeners to take one step closer to Christ.</li><li>
Mentors interns and producers as requested.</li><li>

Job Description</b><p><b><br>
Reports To:</b> Dining Room Manager &amp; General Manager</p><p><b>
General Purpose: </b>The restaurant Host is the first employee to interact with arriving guests as they enter the restaurant. It is the job of the Host to greet arriving guests, welcome them into the establishment and seat them. The guests receive their first impression of the restaurant in their exchange with the Host.</p><p><b>
Specific Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Understands he/she is the first impression of guests whether at the door or on the phone and behaves in accordance with high standards set by restaurant reputation.</li><li>
Maintains a positive, friendly attitude with co-workers and guests at all time.</li><li>
Knows at least 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 3 desserts and can explain them to a guest/caller.</li><li>
Reports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shift.</li><li>
Maintains a clean, orderly appearance of the restaurant service area.</li><li>
Fills in for multiple positions as needed.</li><li>
Delivers a prompt, accurate report of all income received during shifts worked.</li></ul><br>

Education/Formal Training:
