Under general supervision, the Medical Assistant – NCT or Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) is responsible for providing patient care services, determining medical conditions, and preparing patients for examination and treatment under the direction of the Provider. The MA-NCT or Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist prepares for and performs standard x-ray examinations, while using proper technique and positioning per provider orders. The team member will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, updating medical records, utilizing x-ray equipment, and notifying the imaging supervisor of any equipment issues. Additional back-office duties as assigned.

<b>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</b><br>

<li>Collect blood, tissue, and other laboratory specimens through routine in-house testing procedures, and analyze and prepare for testing, log results, and perform lab call-backs</li>
<li>Document basic patient care and procedures, utilizing appropriate forms and electronic medical records</li>
<li>Schedule patients for tests, initial, and follow-up appointments if applicable in care setting</li>
<li>Instructs patients and family regarding treatment and medication instructions</li>
<li>Collaborate, take direction, and initiate actions that will allow the assumption of cross-functional team actions to ensure seamless patient care</li>

<li>Follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required radiologic equipment</li>
<li>Experience with positioning patients and x-ray equipment to achieve desired diagnostic image</li>

Compensation Range:</b></p>
$52.31- $77.73<p>
This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. <li>1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.</li>
<li>Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.</li>
<li>Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties.</li>
<li>Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.</li>
