<p>We are seeking an experienced, Ramp Service Duty Manager to oversee the operations and management of our <b>Newark Airport</b> location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in airport ramp operations management, ensuring the smooth functioning of all airfield activities.</p>
<ul><li><b>BEST CANDIDATES&rsquo; QUALIFICATIONS:</b>
<ul><li>3-5 years of management/leadership experience in an airfield ramp operations environment.</li>
<li>A valid driver's license for at least one full year, with a clean driving record, without any moving violations or suspensions in the last 3 years, is required.</li>
<li>Experience and knowledge of driving on the airfield at <b>Newark Liberty International Airport</b></li>

<ul><li>This position is FULL-TIME, Salary Exempt</li>

</ul></li></ul></li><li><b>JOB OVERNIEW:</b>
<ul><li>Manage all aspects of airfield operations, direct and coordinate workers' activities, and carry out supervisory responsibilities per company policies and applicable laws. Hire and train new employees, manage work schedules, monitor work performance, order supplies, and maintenance of equipment.</li>
</ul></li><li><b>WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:</b>
<ul><li>Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Direct employees&rsquo; daily activities, including assigning work to be completed, creating schedules, providing on-the-job training for new hires, and carrying out disciplinary action.</li>
<li>Examine, inspect, and record information on equipment, materials, chemical inventory levels, productivity, and worksites to verify safety and operational data ensuring compliance with all specifications.</li>
<li>Organizing and seeing to the safe and appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to accomplish certain work</li>
<li>Communicate with customers, employees, managers, and other personnel to exchange information and resolve problems.</li>
<li>Enforces compliance of operations personnel with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and government regulations.</li>
<li>Promptly, (within an hour, except in extenuating circumstances), be present on the airfield or facility, to begin the investigation of any accidents, incidents or injuries reported by staff.</li>
<li>Ensure customers&rsquo; specifications and requirements are followed, all products and services are prepared and/or performed to the customers&rsquo; satisfaction.</li>
<li>Build and cultivate relationships within the regional aviation community to procure new business.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain excellent client relationships through periodic meetings at individual airports</li>
<li>Develop current staff to work closely with customers&rsquo; management and front-line team members to increase productivity.</li>
<li>Engage in same work crew is assigned, when necessary, such as staff shortage, special assignments and any other operational need to meet customer and company needs.</li>
<li>Practices safe work methods and performs other related duties as requested.</li>
</ul></li><li><b>MUST-HAVES:</b>
<ul><li>3-5 years of management/leadership experience in an airfield ramp operations environment (below the wing).</li>
<li>Language skills: Proficient English required.</li>
<li>Strong mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, knowledge of averages and percentages, etc.).</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software packages.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills to interact well with multiple departments as required.</li>
<li>Self-starter with a high-energy work style and ability to motivate employees.</li>
<li>Highly organized and attention to detail required.</li>
<li>Able to understand and implement air carrier, airport, and government agencies' requirements, policies, and procedures.</li>
<li>Knowledge of safety/security operations, rules, regulations, and ability to maintain confidentiality.</li>
<li>Safety conscious work approach is required.</li>
<li>Be physically present to work on all scheduled days to meet workload productivity standards.</li>
<li>Able to work floating shifts and/or extra hours to satisfy operational needs.</li>
</ul></li><li><b>CERTIFICATES &amp; LICENSES:</b>
<ul><li><b>Required: </b>Airport security badge - must be able to attain an airport security badge during the hiring process and maintain an active badge for the duration of employment, without lapse at any time.</li>
<li>Attaining an airport security badge is an essential function of this position, you will be required to go through the airport's process to obtain an airport security badge, which allows you access to all areas in which Flightline Support Group LLC operates. This is an airport requirement for you to access the airfield where all work is completed.</li>
<li><b>Required:</b> A valid driver's license for at least 1 full year, preferably 5 full years, with a clean driving. Must maintain a valid driver's license for the duration of employment without lapse.</li>
<li>Driving company vehicles and equipment is an essential function of this position, Supervisors must maintain a valid driver's license without lapse for the duration of employment with Flightline Support Group LLC, and must maintain a clean driving. During the training process, Supervisors must pass all airport required driver training to be able to drive on the airfield and must also pass a driving evaluation by Flightline Support Group LLC.</li>
