Ramp Service Agents (RSA) at Pegasus Aviation Services are responsible for marshalling aircraft in the gate, loading, unloading and sorting freight and baggage. RSAs are also responsible for servicing security functions, aircraft lavatories, potable water, push back aircraft from the gate, deicing and other duties as delegated. The RSA position is a support services position whose work routine is established and follows a set of procedures. It generally functions under close supervisory direction or guidance of the Customer Service Reps, Supervisors, or Ramp Managers.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Marshall aircraft on the ramp (includes directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft).</li><li>
Service aircraft as needed including:<ul><li>

water service.</li><li>
cabin cleaning.</li><li>

Aircraft de-icing / anti-icing.</li></ul></li><li>

Monitoring Security: Vigilantly observing, inspecting, monitoring, and screening all passengers, airport personnel and crew regularly to detect any potential security breaches or safety hazards.</li><li>
Prevent breaches of security in the area assigned and being prepared to promptly respond to any calls for assistance from the pilot or crew of any aircraft, addressing their concerns and needs swiftly and effectively.</li><li>
Proactively preventing breaches of aviation security and safety within their designated area of responsibility. This includes taking action to mitigate or resolve any security or safety concerns that may arise.</li><li>
Conducting comprehensive security screenings for departing passengers and their baggage. Additionally, performing mobile, foot, and static patrols within assigned areas.</li><li>
Responsible for maintaining safety and security of aircraft.</li><li>

Qualifications:

Ramp Service Agents:</b></p><p>
The Ramp Service Agent is responsible for the handling of customer luggage, including loading and unloading baggage on and off the aircraft, marshaling in and pushing back the aircraft, operation of ground service equipment (GSE), meet arriving flights and service departing flights, assist customers with special needs, assist customer service agents, as needed, and any other assigned duties.</p><p><b>
Essential Duties and</b> <b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates, i.e., ramp, commissary and aircraft cleaning activities.</li><li>
Move luggage and comail of various weight and dimensions to and from aircraft and airport luggage receiving area.</li><li>
Load and unload baggage, luggage, and comail.</li><li>
Operate ground equipment, including tugs and belt loaders.</li><li>
Marshal aircraft to and from gates.</li><li>
Provide proper handling of baggage requiring special care.</li><li>
Service aircraft lavatories.</li><li>
Perform aircraft interior cleaning.</li><li>
Responsible for aircraft security searches and commissary security searches.</li><li>
Ensure ramp areas are safe and free of FOD and that all ground equipment is properly maintained.</li><li>
Follow safety regulations which include the proper use of ground equipment and wearing proper safety items.</li><li>
Able to communicate using a two-way radio.</li><li>
Must be at least 18 years old.</li><li>
Able to read and write English</li><li>
Complete all required training</li><li>
Only complete tasks for which you are fully trained</li><li>
Report any safety hazard or incident immediately</li></ul><p><b>
Physical Demands</b>: Must be able to carry 70 pound suitcase from the floor to 18 inches and carry 70 pound suitcase in front of you with both hands for a distance of up to 25 feet; must have physical dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending at the waist and knees, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting and sustaining those positions for extended amounts of time. Must have sufficient vision and ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position.</p><p><b>
Work Environment: </b>Airport environment: Indoors and Outdoors. Extreme outdoor conditions where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered. Attend and successfully complete paid training.</p></div></div><div></div>
