As a part-time Sylvan Instructor, you will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group setting. You will provide personalized instruction in the subjects you are qualified to and wish to teach. If you aspire to inspire, then we want you on our team. As a successful teacher you will:</p>
<ul><li>Teach using Sylvan based programs</li><li>Supervise, interact with and motivate students during instruction hour while they work with equipment and materials</li><li>Reward students for completed assignments</li><li>Evaluate and document student progress</li><li>Communicate student needs to the center manager</li></ul>

<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience</li><li>State level teaching credential or certification preferred (current or expired)</li><li>Some college in Early Childhood Education, English or related field preferred</li></ul>
-Availability on Monday through Thursdays, 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays as needed</div>

The ESOL instructor is a dynamic, committed instructor who has significant experience working with a diverse population of adult and non-traditional high school equivalency students. The GED Instructor should have teaching experience developing the 4 skills; speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English; must be able to work independently and have excellent interpersonal skills; be creative, organized, and committed to learner-centered, participatory education.</p>

Under the supervision of the ESOL Manager the ESOL Instructor will provide immersive learner-centered instruction to morning and evening students.</p>
