Lease and Property Administration<ul><li>

Collaborate cross functionally to ensure timely property maintenance, repairs, and improvements.</li><li>
Contribute to property due diligence efforts during acquisition, disposition, and financing activities, including research, documentation review, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.</li></ul>

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, operations, and development, to ensure alignment on asset management strategies and initiatives.</li><li>

MIG is seeking a qualified individual with at least five (5) years of relevant experience to serve as a regional Asset Manager for its Arizona and California multifamily portfolio to drive above-market results, streamline processes and enhance the profitability of MIG&rsquo;s multifamily portfolio. MIG requires that this candidate be located in either the Phoenix metro or Southern California, with the ability to frequently travel between markets. MIG intends to double the size of its multifamily portfolio over the next few years and will need a highly organized, enthusiastic candidate with strong financial acumen and interpersonal skills who can execute renovation strategies and motivate property management and in-house support teams to meet stringent deadlines and realize above-market performance. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Asset Manager will be responsible for setting and implementing financial, business, and management strategies/tactics for MIG&rsquo;s Arizona and California multifamily investments with the objective of maximizing value of the regional portfolio.
The person filling this position will provide hands-on asset management to successfully complete value-add business plans, acquisitions, and dispositions for the existing and growing multifamily portfolio. Bowery Residents' Committee (BRC) is seeking a qualified summer intern to join its Asset Management department, who can assist in various aspects of the management of BRC's real estate portfolio. The portfolio consists of buildings, both owned and leased, in New York City. The intern will work with the VP of Asset Management who will provide mentorship throughout the internship duration.

Through this internship opportunity, interns are encouraged to learn about the workings of BRC and gain an understanding of the asset management of its various buildings. Key Responsibilities:

The Analyst directly reports to the Vice President of Finance &ndash; Multifamily Operations, overseeing all internal data analysis and reporting for the Multifamily Asset Management department. The Analyst will get immediate exposure to the executive leadership team through regular property performance reviews. The Analyst is responsible for regular weekly and monthly reporting and one-off projects to maximize the financial performance of the entire JRK multifamily portfolio. This position is based in our West Los Angeles office.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Prepare financial models, projections, and performance reports for multifamily assets
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct market research and analysis to support asset management decisions
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage property management software system to maximize property and portfolio revenue
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including acquisitions, operations, and finance departments
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and track property performance, financial metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform financial audits as well as physical audits as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and manage relationships with third-party vendors, under the supervision of the Vice President of Finance
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs other related duties as assigned

 A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in finance, real estate, or a related field preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in real estate asset management or financial analysis
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong computer skills, VBA and SQL a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques

 Physical Requirements

 Expected work hours: 7:30 to 7:00, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends
 </li>

 Travel: As needed and as directed by the Vice President of Asset Management
