This role has a minimum base pay from $15.00 per hour with higher starting pay available based on experience.
Purpose
The Receiving Associate is responsible for assisting in the warehouse operations of the retail store. In addition, the Receiving Associate is responsible for unloading, auditing, and staging product to recover store inventory. Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements<ul><li>
1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred</li><li>
Experience driving a forklift is preferred</li><li>
Effective communication skills (oral and written)</li><li>
Attentive to detail</li><li>
Ability to work in different weather conditions</li><li>

Demonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company&rsquo;s safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures</li><li>
Complete required department and equipment training (must be forklift certified)</li></ul>
Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)<ul><li>
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.</li></ul>
Physical/Sensory Requirements
Physical Work &ndash; Ability exert 30 &ndash; 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work as part of team to assemble packaging and build crating to prevent damage and protect windows/doors during shipment off site.<ul><li>
Receive and review paperwork from shipping office.</li><li>
Pull appropriately sized cardboard, lumber or other packaging materials, as required.</li><li>
If building a crate, figure out dimensions required and use chop saw to cut lumber to required lengths.</li><li>
Retrieve order of window/door units from storage racks, load onto glass cart and transport to packaging work area.</li><li>
Remove label from window and set aside temporarily.</li><li>
Assembles carton or crate.</li><li>
Secure bottom of carton with staplegun or bottom of crate with nail gun.</li><li>
Place carton over window/lift window into crate.</li><li>
Secure top of carton or top of crate.</li><li>
Place product stickers to outside of carton/crate. Mark with necessary shipping information.</li><li>
Lift, weigh and record information on shipping documents.</li><li>
Move carton/crate to staging area and complete shipping paperwork; returning paperwork to shipping office.</li><li>
Enter weight and number of pieces into computer.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 

Qualifications

Ability to visualize and determine appropriate package size.</li><li>
Ability to safely operate forklift and scale equipment.</li><li>

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. All schedules contain weekend shifts as part of the requirements. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability. Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform
<ul>
<li>This position requires talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands</li>
<li>Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders, reaching, including above eye level</li>
<li>Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment</li>
<li>Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions</li>
