Manage the overall operations of the Inmate Records Unit and its employees who work shifts providing customer service to departmental staff, courts, other law enforcement agencies, and the public on a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week basis.</li><li>

Review, interpret, verify, and make recommendations on incarcerated individual commitments, release orders, detainers, and other court documents in accordance with applicable laws. Interpret pertinent laws and regulations relating to the release of incarcerated individual information.</li><li>
Ensure appropriate scheduling for staffing of the Unit. Train and perform performance evaluations of supervisory staff (Assistant Records Manager) and maintain adequate in-service training levels for staff.</li><li>
Oversee the continuous systematic processing, storing, and retrieval of information in various forms, including paper, and online computer systems, in accordance with Division and Departmental Policies and Procedures, and/or Federal, State, or local laws.</li><li>
Review and approve billing submissions for state and federal reimbursements.</li><li>
Represent the Department in depositions and court proceedings as the official &ldquo;Custodian of Records&rdquo; in response to subpoenas for both criminal and civil matters.</li><li>
Attend structured meetings as the Department Liaison with other Department personnel, law enforcement, criminal justice, governmental, and other non-criminal justice agencies, in the furtherance of Division/Department goals and objectives.</li></ul><div><br>

<div>The Property Information Resources Archivist plays a critical role in managing the archives for the Operations Division and works with other campus entities as needed. <p><b>Job Summary</b><br/>The Archives branch preserves and provides access to unique historical and contemporary resources including the official archives of Arizona&rsquo;s permanent government records. The Archives also assists state agencies, local governments and political subdivisions with the management of their public records pursuant to A.R.S. &sect;41-151.08 through &sect;41-151.18 and provides records storage, retrieval, and preservation services to public bodies statewide.</p><p>The lead archivist serves as the main processing archivist in the Archives branch. This position directs the other archivists in processing and answers to the State Archivist. The lead works with the State Archives administrator to oversee the content and maintenance of the archival content management system (CMS). The lead archivist works with state and local government agencies and courts to appraise historical value of public records while maintaining confidentiality expectations and arrange for their transfer to the State Archives; consults with state and local government agencies on issues relating to the care and use of records in all formats in their custody; and assists with providing reference services to customers. This is a full-time position and is expected to work during regular operation hours.
