The RN ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA Privacy and Security, OSHA, CLIA, Title X, CDC, DEA, and Massachusetts Department of Public Health requirements. This role collaborates closely with health center staff to support safe, equitable, and inclusive reproductive health care.</p>

<li>Assess and manage expected and unexpected post‑procedure outcomes in coordination with providers and Screening RNs</li>

Daily Surgical Service: Prepares the operating rooms prior to the first surgical procedure of the day. Trnasports surgical patients to the operating room. Demonstrates the use of good body mechanics and provides for patient safety when transferring, turning lifting, or assisting in positioning patients. Performs other duties as assigned by operating room staff. Provides surgical skin preparation using proper equipment, techniques, using standardized guidelines, or physicians orders as guidance. Adheres to all infection control policies taking all appropriate precautions to provide a safe environment for patients and all health care team members. Provides direct assistance with the activities required to begin subsequent surgical procedures. a) Return unneeded surgical equipment to its appropriate storage area. b) Obtain required equipment needed for upcoming surgeries. c) Assist with opening sterile surgical supplies. Ancillary support: Responsible for daily testing and/or recording of results for a variety of mandated requirements (e.g. cidex sticks, refrigerator charts). Responsible for monthly inventory and control of expired surgical supplies. Restocks all common areas maintaining order, cleanliness, and stock levels. Rotates any expiration-dated supplies restocked. Provides transport of supplies and equipment to and from other departments with the hospital.</li><li>

Job Summary and Qualifications</b></h5><p></p><p><br>
We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center who demonstrates the values of our company by caring like family. You will be an amazing addition to our team by contributing your expertise in the circulating or scrub role. You will ensure safe and effective nursing care until your patient is transferred from your care to recovery.<br>

<p>What you will do in this role:<br>
</p><br>
<p></p><ul><li>Oversee the instrument and equipment set-up for your OR, including utilization of preference cards and ability to anticipate your surgeons needs</li><li>
Coordinate and oversee your room during a case as the circulator</li><li>
You will facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedures</li><li>
Utilize appropriate body mechanics in moving your patients to stretchers and OR tables to prevent injury
</li><li>Manage your patients care and medication, including assistance with anesthesia</li><li>
Consistently review your charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure</li></ul><p></p><p><br>
Qualifications you will need:<br>

<p></p><ul><li>Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing</li><li>
Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center</li><li>

ACLS as required by facility</li><li>
