The Administrative Recovery Specialist will perform, but is not limited to, the following office related duties including administration of program record keeping, consumer documentation, data base collection, various monthly billings and handling office money. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ability to count, document and observe consumers taking various prescription drugs</li><li>
Maintain all assigned office equipment in a clean and workable condition.</li><li>
Ensure all assigned files, records, and databases are maintained in a neat, orderly, and efficient manner.</li><li>
Answer and resolve a variety of questions, problems, informational requests, discrepancies, etc. within scope of position</li><li>
responsibilities.</li><li>
Observe and identify consumer concerns and communicate with the clinical team.</li><li>
Ability to climb three flights of stairs to deal with emergencies.</li><li>
Ability to respond to emergency situations by placing calls to Fire, Rescue, Police, and Medical etc.</li></ul>

Job Summary
The Tissue Recovery Specialist is responsible for the excision of ocular tissue from deceased donors for the intent of transplantation and/or medical research. The role entails driving to the recovery site (e.g., Office of the Medical Examiners, funeral homes, hospitals), performing necessary assessments of the donor, performing the ocular excision procedure, and proper delivery of procured tissue to the correct facility. Additional responsibilities related to the recovery department may be assigned by the Recovery Supervisor based on recovery tier status.
Responsibilities
The Full-Time Tissue Recovery Specialist will be responsible for:
<ul><li>Maintaining a valid driver&rsquo;s license during time of employment.
</li><li>Driving to and from the recovery location in a safe and timely manner.
</li><li>Performing a detailed physical assessment of the potential donor; documenting any visible signs of communicable diseases.
</li><li>Observing the posterior side of the donor by rolling the cadaver and/or lifting extremities.
</li><li>Drawing Cadaveric blood; or obtaining pre-transfused samples from the admitting hospital when necessary.
</li><li>Performing sterile corneoscleral excision and aseptic preservation of tissue for the intent of transplantation.
</li><li>Performing non-sterile whole eye enucleation for the intent of medical research.
</li><li>Delivering ocular tissue, blood samples, or storage media to surgical centers, laboratories, Moran Eye Center, and the Utah Lions Eye Bank
</li><li>Assisting the Recovery Supervisor with screening new recovery candidates to ensure adequate shift coverage for recovery-related services.
</li><li>Assisting in the proper training of new Tissue Recovery Specialist employees on proper technique, documentation, and technical skills.
</li><li>Scheduling periodic fleet vehicle maintenance to ensure adequate safety and usability of vehicle for recovery-related services.
</li><li>Organizing and maintaining recovery-related supplies to ensure proper use of supplies within the allotted expiration date per FDA regulations.
</li><li>Conducting professional interactions with referring hospitals, funeral homes, law enforcement agencies, DonorConnect, and the Office of the Medical Examiners.

</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications
Associate&rsquo;s degree in biology, chemistry or other scientific disciplines in a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required. Certification as an Eye Bank Technician, Ophthalmic Technician or Tissue Bank Specialist is preferred. Experience with aseptic technique and medical terminology also preferred.

 The Bilingual MDFR (Multidimensional Family Recovery) Specialist will spend the majority of their time in the community meeting with clients in their homes or community locations where they feel comfortable. Throughout, the goal is to help increase engagement in treatment services and foster stronger relationships and functioning within the family. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Provide education on addiction recovery and facilitate linkages to these services.
 
Provide toxicology screens and SBIRT immediately upon referral during the agreed upon hours they are at each DCF Area Office. Toxicology screens will be conducted utilizing quick read cups or a breathalyzer. The recovery support specialist can also conduct hair sample screens, as requested by DCF.
 
Utilize the GAIN Short Screener
 (GAIN-SS) to screen for mental health, substance use disorder, and crime/violence.
 
Provide RMC for clients for up to six months following discharge from substance use treatment. RMC will include frequent check-ins in person (at clients’ homes, in the community, at DCF), over the phone, and by text. Initially the recovery support specialists will contact clients on a weekly basis to check-in. The frequency of contact will decrease as clients strengthen their recovery capital. Throughout all contacts, the recovery support specialists will provide mentoring and will serve as a role model providing hope that recovery is possible. Recovery support specialists will be available to provide initial RMC check-ins with new clients within one day of discharge from treatment. This will increase engagement and ensure that clients know they have a peer resource who is there to support them in achieving their recovery goals.
 
Proactively connect clients to local recovery resources and supports and will seek to identify concerns or relapse early and re-engage clients in treatment services, as needed.
 
Assist clients with ensuring they are following their child safety plans.
 
Provide recovery education to service recipients for every phase of recovery.
 
Assists in professional training, outreach, and public education services as assigned. This may include professional conferences, workshops and training for behavioral health agencies. May represent the agency at community forums or serve on inter-organizational committees as directed.
 
Documentation of clinical activities in client record as required by Wheeler Clinic.
 
Actively identify and support linkages to community resources (communities of recovery, educational, vocational, social, cultural, spiritual resources, mutual self- help groups, professional services, etc.) that support the recovering person’s goals and interests. This will involve a collaborative effort including the recovering person, agency staff and other relevant stakeholders.
 
Assist recovering persons to identify their personal interests, goals, strengths and weaknesses regarding recovery.
 
RSS will assume responsibility for coordinating the provision of services by other community professionals.
 
Refer to licensed substance use provider pursuant to the screen results and parent/caregiver agreement.
 
Provide reports on SBIRT findings to the parent/caregiver and DCF.
 
Parents/caregivers who test positive in a drug test and contest the results will be referred to a licensed substance use provider for a full evaluation.

JOB PURPOSE: A Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) Ambassador is someone with lived experience of behavioral health and/or substance use recovery who has received specialized training on how to use their experience to help others. A PRSS works with individuals during their recovery journey, sharing skills, coaching, and providing support. A PRSS will have obtained credentialing as a PRSS from an AHCCCS approved training program. Peer support services shall be provided by a PRSS and are aimed at assisting in the creation of skills to promote long-term and sustained recovery. PRSSs providing peer support are not therapists and will need to know when and how to refer peer individuals to a therapist for support and will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team. Assisting with or completing these duties, tasks, or assignments follows well-established procedures requiring some minimal independent judgment within the scope of authority and responsibility for the position.
 
A PRSS works with direct supervision and review, and any work problems involving departures from standard policies, interpretations, or procedures are reviewed with the supervisor for resolution.

<li>Shares personal experiences related to the recovery journey of individuals facing similar life circumstances.</li>
<li>Provides advocacy, emotional support, and help in problem-solving. Peer support services will be offered in office but primarily in the community to meet peer patients where they are at and may be offered after hours and on weekends</li>
<li>Helps to locate support services in the community that can assist in the recovery process.</li>
<li>Helps guide individuals in the development of their own recovery goals.</li>
<li>Encourages communication with the multidisciplinary integrated treatment team.</li>
<li>Works with the multidisciplinary integrated treatment team members in a manner that supports the recovery goals of patients.</li>
<li>Participates in bi-weekly clinical supervision.</li>
<li>Facilitates peer groups and/or classes.</li>
<li>Engages with newly diagnosed patients to offer support and help them navigate the system.</li>
<li>Serves as a treatment team member and participates in team meetings.</li>
<li>Works closely with the Behavioral Health Leadership Team</li>
<li>Demonstrates an exceptional level of customer service; answers and responds to all incoming calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely and effective manner, respond to requests for support providing general information in response to inquiries.</li>
<li>Identifies and reports any safety hazard, or potential hazard, by immediately notifying supervisory staff and communicating the hazard, thereby ensuring that El Rio Health provides safe and high-quality services for all patients and visitors.</li>
<li>Demonstrates an understanding of and proficiency with the application of all Joint Commission Accreditation standards and reporting requirements applicable to a PRSS.</li>
<li>As a team player demonstrates self-initiative by being able to communicate effectively in order to assist patients, co-workers, and others while maintaining and enhancing a respectful and positive attitude in the work environment.</li>

Minimum Education and Experience: 
<ul>
<li>A High School Diploma or G.E.D</li>
<li>Two (2) years experience in the provision of delivering peer support services with lived experiences of recovery.</li>
</ul>
If applicable, equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, and must be directly related to the functions and responsibilities of the job.
 
Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations: 
<ul>
<li>Credentialed as a PRSS from an AHCCCS approved training program.</li>
<li>Employees in this position are required to have reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the organization during the workday. If an employee is driving during work hours, the employee is required to possess a valid driver’s license and must comply with Arizona vehicle insurance requirements.</li>

Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities:

<li>Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health related field.</li>
<li>Five (5) years of experience in the provision of delivering peer support services.</li>
<li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages</li>

Position Overview
Impact Life is seeking a part-time Case Manager to oversee and provide case management services for residents at a Women&rsquo;s Recovery House located in Wilmington, Delaware. This position is part of our Lower-Level Housing Department and is responsible for supporting residents through individualized case planning, service coordination, and recovery-oriented care.
This is a part-time 20-hour per week position. The expected schedule is 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday. The specific daily work hours are flexible and will be determined in coordination with the selected candidate based on program needs and availability.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Provide direct case management services to assigned residents across two men&rsquo;s housing programs
</li><li>Meet regularly with residents to assess needs, support recovery goals, and monitor overall well-being
</li><li>Develop, implement, and update individualized recovery and care plans in collaboration with the treatment team
</li><li>Coordinate referrals and link residents to appropriate internal and external services, including behavioral health, medical, and social supports
</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including required case notes and records
</li><li>Participate in recovery planning meetings and interdisciplinary team coordination
</li><li>Conduct ongoing assessments and adjust services based on resident needs and program protocols
</li><li>Facilitate groups and provide individualized education as required
</li><li>Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic de-escalation when needed
</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and deliver services in a non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and person-centered manner
</li>Travel between both Wilmington housing locations as part of the regular work schedule

Requirements 
 
Qualifications<ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED required
</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in behavioral health or a related field preferred
</li><li>Minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health, housing services, or a related field
</li><li>Experience providing case management services strongly preferred</li></ul>
Certification Requirement

Possess an active Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential, or
</li><li>Meet eligibility requirements to obtain CPRS certification and successfully complete certification within one (1) year of hire.</li></ul>
