Primarily functions as the Bentonville Community Center manager of day-to-day operations and programming and oversees all aquatic operations. Facility, Program, and Staff Management:</b></p>
<ul><li>Operate, program, and administer the Bentonville Community Center.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Directly supervise the Welcome Desk staff and operation.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manage the aquatics team responsible for the operation, programming, and administration of all aquatics programming and facilities, including the Melvin Ford Aquatic Center.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manage the community center programming team, overseeing recreation programs including Camp Bentonville, fitness and wellness classes, sports, and enrichment programs.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Perform supervisory functions, including interviewing, selecting, training, evaluating, disciplining, developing, and terminating staff.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Provide staff with necessary resources, equipment, tools, and knowledge to perform and improve services.</li></ul>

Program and Event Coordination:</b></p>
<ul><li>Coordinate and implement three signature events at the Bentonville Community Center/Citizens Park.</li></ul>

and with the general public, and serves as a representative of the administration office in contact with<br>

1. Provides administrative support by performing difficult, diverse, and confidential<br>

2. Provides general customer service to the public by greeting visitors and answering the<br>
telephone. Responds to and resolves difficult and sensitive complaints and inquiries; provides<br>
general and specialized information and assistance with the area of assignment that may<br>
require the use of judgment, tact, and sensitivity and the interpretation of policies, rules, and<br>
procedures as appropriate.<br>
3. Conducts assigned research; develops recommendations for Senior Leadership Team and<br>
department wide work methods, operating policy, procedures, and other administrative<br>

4. Performs purchasing activities for the Senior Leadership team using the City&rsquo;s automated<br>
purchasing system to process purchasing requests and payments, assuring proper budgetary<br>
coding and approval. Researches availability, quality and price of items to be purchased<br>
following appropriate purchasing guidelines.<br>
5. Assists in the preparation and monitoring of the Department&rsquo;s office budget. Reviews<br>
expenditures, detect possible shortages, and project office budgetary needs.<br>
6. Receives program registrations and facility reservations. Provides information and answer<br>
questions about park facilities and recreational programs and events.<br>
7. Collect monies for fees and donations; keep records of all cash receipts, count and balance<br>
funds and prepare for daily deposits.<br>
8. Schedules and coordinates appointments and meetings for the Senior Leadership team,<br>
