As a Program Coordinator I, you spend your day being part of community events. Your work typically involves coordinating youth activities and field trips, assisting in interdepartmental and citywide events. Your job is essential to the city, and you perform administrative functions and public relations, assist in promoting and registering clients for programs and manage maintenance work orders. You are constantly on your toes and ready for any new and unexpected challenges that may arise in the city. This can include coordinating events and programs, gathering appropriate materials for activities, provide tutoring and mentoring for the youth and teen members. When you are not out in the city, you generally assisting with teaching programs or classes and maintain parks or club spaces and facilities in good condition. the administrative office, coordinates administrative activities of the department with staff at all levels<br>
and with the general public, and serves as a representative of the administration office in contact with<br>

2. Provides general customer service to the public by greeting visitors and answering the<br>

require the use of judgment, tact, and sensitivity and the interpretation of policies, rules, and<br>

4. Performs purchasing activities for the Senior Leadership team using the City&rsquo;s automated<br>
purchasing system to process purchasing requests and payments, assuring proper budgetary<br>
coding and approval. Researches availability, quality and price of items to be purchased<br>

5. Assists in the preparation and monitoring of the Department&rsquo;s office budget. Reviews<br>
expenditures, detect possible shortages, and project office budgetary needs.<br>
6. Receives program registrations and facility reservations. Provides information and answer<br>
questions about park facilities and recreational programs and events.<br>
7. Collect monies for fees and donations; keep records of all cash receipts, count and balance<br>
funds and prepare for daily deposits.<br>
