 As a Beach Guru, you are responsible for ensuring that all Beach &amp; Recreational area activities are completed in a timely and effective way, and your position will include key responsibilities such as:

 As a Recreation Attendant you are responsible to provide warm, engaging and authentically local personalized service to all guests who utilize the facilities.

  What you will be doing:

 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Actively engage with guests and assist in all guests&rsquo; needs, which may include, but are not limited to: issuing towels, issuing chaise lounge covers, assist in chaise lounge set-up, and cabana set-up.
  </li>
  <li>
   Pick up and remove used towels and debris from the pool deck areas throughout the day.
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide unique experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal &amp; detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure a positive first impression of the pool for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain complete knowledge of all wellness &amp; recreation services, activities, amenities and hotel services/features.
  </li>
  <li>
   Up-sell and promote wellness &amp; recreation offers at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue.
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform opening/closing side duties as assigned and set the pool according to standards and procedures.
  </li>
  <li>
   Be well versed in hotel fire &amp; life safety/emergency procedures.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel.

  Qualifications

 <ul>
  <li>
   At least one year's experience as a recreation attendant
  </li>
  <li>
   Exceptional customer service skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Basic knowledge of recreational equipment and facilities
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  </li>
  <li>
   Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedure.
  </li>
  <li>
   Be available to carry out any assignment as delegated by department manager.
  </li>
