<div>POSITION SUMMARY: The Company provides industrial waste services to its customers. The Industrial HazMat Driver operates a tractor-trailer and other truck equipment to haul industrial waste to a variety of final disposal or recycle facilities. The Industrial HazMat Driver provides efficient response times and a high level of service to the Company&rsquo;s customers.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Transports hazardous waste, hazardous materials, industrial fluids, and non-hazardous wastes in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.</li><li>
Operates a variety of vehicles including, but not limited to vans, straight trucks, tankers, vacuum tankers and roll offs.</li><li>
Performs safety inspections and maintains a DOT driver&rsquo;s log and records, as required by DOT.</li><li>
Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections of all equipment operated as required or instructed.</li><li>
Maintains satisfactory customer service by maintaining radio and/or telephone communication with dispatch, supervisor, or manager to receive instructions on pickups and deliveries.</li><li>
Completes work tickets and maintains daily inventory of tools, fittings and other equipment associated with the transport vehicle.</li><li>
Reports all safety issues, incidents and concerns to Company management and notifies of current and/or anticipated repair needs.</li><li>
Responsible for making sure all jobs are operated in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.</li><li>
Use Personal Protective Equipment when needed or required.</li><li>
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.</li><li>

Requirements:
Summary:
The CDL Class A Driver II will be responsible for hauling Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste and must be experienced on all equipment. This includes the need to support operations during high demand times to ensure the success of the business.

Job Duties:

Loading, unloading, and safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials and operation of all fleet and facility equipment.

Types of equipment include, but are not limited to: vac tankers, roll off equipment, walking floor trailers, dump trailers

Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment while maintaining appearance of company equipment to meet company standards.

Interfacing and creating a Wow! Experience for our clients at the point of delivery.

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/ or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.

Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after pickups.

Efficiently able to operate a manual transmission (no automatic restriction)

Willing to operate a sleeper tractor &amp; do overnight runs

Ability to make minor repairs is a plus (light bulbs, fuses, minor air leaks.

Ability to identify and report equipment malfunction or damage.

Requirements:

What to Expect? 
Hazmat Drivers make safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations. 
 
On a daily basis our drivers:<ul><li>
Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.</li><li>
Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.</li><li>
Pull orders onto the truck for deliveries and offload at the stops</li><li>
Collect payments and accurately document delivery.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).</li><li>
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.</li><li>
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.</li><li>
Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li>
Working in warehouse when not on deliveries which will be 50% of the time.</li></ul>

 Owner Operator Driver

 in our operation. Your role includes:

 Safe Transportation: Hauling chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while adhering to DOT regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring your truck meets all inspection standards and remains in top condition for long-haul success
 </li>
 <li>
 Loading &amp; Unloading: Following proper procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag or Tanker operations at loading and delivery points
 </li>
 <li>
 Compliance &amp; Documentation: Maintaining accurate logs, submitting necessary paperwork, and adhering to Hazmat regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Customer Service: Representing Altom Transport professionally at all customer locations
 </li>
 <li>
 Business Management: Managing fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize revenue
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a steady workload by meeting mileage or hour requirements to contribute to the overall success of the operation
 </li>

 24/7 Operation - Willingness to be available 24/7 when needed

 Requirements

 Late model equipment that meets Altom's inspection standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Qualifications
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid CDL Class A License
 </li>
 <li>
 Tanker Endorsement (N) - Required
 </li>
 <li>
 Hazmat Endorsement (H) - Preferred (must obtain within 90 days of hire; assistance available)
 </li>
 <li>
 TWIC Card - Preferred (or must obtain after hire)
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 1 year of verifiable tanker driving experience
 </li>
 <li>
 At least 23 years of age
 </li>
 <li>
 Clean MVR and strong safety record
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
 </li>
 <li>
 Dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working independently
 </li>
 <li>
 Willing to work flexible schedules, including 24/7 operations if needed
