What Will You Do?
As an ABA Technician at Pine Rest, you&rsquo;ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. This position will assess patient care needs, implement treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, continually reassess treatment plan according to patient care needs, and will implement behavior change procedures under the guidance of the Certified ABA Specialist. The ABA Technician must demonstrate excellent customer service, be able to manage stressful situations, be able to work with others, have great organizational skills and ability to provide support and empathy as needed to children, adults, and families. The ABA Technician must be responsible, reliable, able to work independently, have exceptional problem-solving skills. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA</li><li>
Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach</li><li>
Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families</li><li>
Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation</li><li>
Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)</li><li>
Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations</li><li>
Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies</li><li>
Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality</li><li>
Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings</li><li>
Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs</li></ul>
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications:<ul><li>
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required</li><li>
6+ months of ABA experience preferred, but not required</li><li>
Knowledge of general ABA practices</li><li>
At least 18+ years of age</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Excellent time management and organizational skills</li></ul></div>
