Whom we are looking for:

Think Academy is expanding its competition math programs for students in North America. We are currently looking for Remote Math Competition Tutors to teach and support students preparing for AMC 8 and AMC 10 mathematics competitions. Our program focuses on developing students' problem-solving abilities, mathematical reasoning, and competition strategies to help them succeed in national math contests.

What You Will Do:
<ul>
<li>Deliver online one-on-one math lessons focused on AMC 8 and AMC 10 competition preparation.</li>
<li>Teach in English using interactive and problem-solving based methods to help students develop strong analytical and logical thinking skills.</li>
<li>Guide students through competition-style problems and explain key concepts and strategies used in math competitions.</li>
<li>Assign and review practice problems and homework, providing clear explanations and feedback to strengthen understanding.</li>
<li>Help students build systematic approaches to common competition math topics such as number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry.</li>
<li>Support students in developing confidence and effective test-taking strategies for math competitions.</li>
</ul>
How You Can Be Qualified:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree or above; all majors are welcome</li>
<li>Must have experience in math competitions (e.g., AMC 8/10) or relevant competition teaching/tutoring experience</li>
<li>Strong math foundation; familiarity with competitions such as AMC, AIME, or MathCounts is preferred</li>
<li>Available to work during weekday evenings and weekends</li>
<li>Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is preferred</li>

Pay:
<ul>
<li>Tutor: $18-$22</li>
<li>Lead Tutor: $22-$30</li>

Role Overview
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Math Tutors who are confident teaching a range of math subjects from 6th grade through college level. This is a fully remote contract role with flexible scheduling. Tutors who are comfortable with a broad range of math topics and who understand the U.S. curriculum are able to connect with more students.

Broader weekday and weekend availability is a plus</li><li>Fast and reliable internet connection</li><li>Computer or laptop with microphone and camera. A stylus pen is highly recommended for clear annotations</li><li>Quiet and professional environment</li></ul>
