Our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) / Health Care Aides (HCA) provide direct resident care under nurse supervision, including vital signs, personal care, mobility support, and observation of resident status. This role requires compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to follow care plans while supporting resident comfort, dignity, and safety.</p>
<p><b>
Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes</li>
<li>Review resident service plans daily to determine if changes in the resident&rsquo;s daily care routine have been made on the plan</li>
<li>Inform the RCC or nurse of any changes in the resident&rsquo;s condition so that appropriate information can be entered on the resident&rsquo;s service plan</li>
<li>Assist resident&rsquo;s with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments, as needed</li>
<li>Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment</li>
<li>Participate in community surveys by authorized government agencies</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines</li>
<li>Effectively communicate necessary resident information to the nurse, RCC and/or the Executive Director</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Have a 10 grade education or above</li>
<li>Be a licensed certified nursing assistant CNA or health care aide HCA in this state</li>
<li>Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents</li>
<li>Must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate in English fluently</li>
<li>Must have active CPR/BLS</li></ul><br>
