The primary responsibility of the Resident Advisor (RA) staff is to provide immediate resident support to those we serve in the Family Shelter. The RA staff work closely with all other shelter employees to ensure the needs of the shelter residents are met and that the services provided promote the safety, healing, and empowerment of survivors residing in the shelter. The RA staff will assist in creating an environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and client focused.

</b></p><p>The SAFE Alliance exists to stop abuse for everyone by serving the survivors of child abuse, sexual assault and exploitation, and domestic violence. We are dedicated to ending violence through prevention, advocacy, and comprehensive services for individuals, families, and communities that have been affected by abuse.
</p><p>In the past two years (23-24), our community outreach and education has provided over 12,000 adults and youth violence prevention training. The number of forensic exams provided at Eloise House numbered over 300. Our various housing and shelter programs provided over 700 survivors <b>per day</b> with safe housing and shelter. Over 120 survivors fleeing sex trafficking received services through our CARES program and over 27,000 callers/chats/texts, walk-in advocacy, crisis intervention and face-to-face emotional support has been provided through our 24/7 confidential SAFEline.

We are looking for one person to work on a part-time, non-exempt basis for an hourly salary of $21.20 dependent upon experience and an additional hourly language differential of $1.73 for those who are English/Spanish bilingual. The work location will be based at Grove Blvd. Campus in the East Austin area. This position will include no travel in the community or between campuses with no ability for remote/hybrid work. The shift currently available is Sunday to Tuesday; 4pm to 12am (midnight).</p>

<b>Job Summary</b><br>
<br>
Provides care and services such as medication administration, healthcare services, activities of daily living assistance and other duties, as assigned, in a caring, safe and efficient manner and is responsible to perform according to location standards and procedures. Assists residents with self-administration of medications. May administer medications with proper training. Assists residents in maintaining proper and clean appearance. Assists residents with bathing and maintaining cleanliness of all body areas. Helps residents with toileting needs. Helps residents with dressing and undressing and maintaining proper clothing. Assists residents in transferring, repositioning and walking. Obtain vital signs accurately and reports changes in resident health status. Adheres to OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize infections by following aseptic cleaning techniques, including those that apply to blood borne pathogens. Demonstrates safe and proper techniques for chemical use, and follows SDS guidelines for any exposure.<br>
<br>
Assists with preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals and snacks to residents following orders, standards and regulations. Folds, hangs and distributes clean linens and personal clothing. Prepares and launders soiled linen / clothing. Cleans residents' rooms and bathrooms, work areas and other public areas. Takes part in community involvement in location and works with volunteers.<br>

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. High School Diploma or GED may be required based on working state.<br>
<br>
If working at a facility in which a lift is utilized to move residents, must meet the minimum state age requirement.<br>
<br>
Must complete and maintain assigned medication administration training program and competencies per state guidelines.<br>

The Kinesiology and Health Science Department (KHS) at Utah State University (USU) is seeking to hire a qualified and motivated Lifetime Activity Program Assistant (Program Assistant II) to provide vital administrative support for the Lifetime Activity Program (LAP) and assist with broader departmental operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a dynamic, student-centered environment.</div><div></div><div><br>
The LAP is a well-established program offering over 68 different one-credit physical activity courses each semester to promote lifelong wellness and physical fitness among students. Serving up to 5,000 USU students per semester, the program supports the development of physical, social, and emotional well-being and is a foundational part of the department's mission to enhance student health and wellness through active living.</div><div><br>
Under the direction of the LAP Director, this position will assist with instructor coordination, student communication, program logistics, enrollment tracking, and recruitment and marketing efforts specific to the LAP. The assistant will also support department-wide operations by coordinating academic course scheduling, managing course evaluations, and serving as the front desk contact for students, faculty, and visitors, under the guidance of a senior staff member in the department.</div><div><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Act as an assistant to the LAP Director.</li><li>
Serve as the primary administrative support for LAP.</li><li>
Coordinate and organize training and onboarding for LAP instructors in coordination with the LAP Director.</li><li>
Maintain up-to-date contact information and CVs/resumes for LAP instructors.</li><li>
Process student waiver forms into Canvas for LAP activity courses.</li><li>
Support LAP program recruitment and marketing by coordinating materials, providing website updates, and collaborating with the LAP Director to develop a marketing plan.</li><li>
Monitor enrollment data and analytics, preparing basic reports as needed.</li><li>
Coordinate and schedule LAP-related meetings and communications.</li><li>
Assist with ordering, distributing, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and inventory for LAP.</li><li>
Oversee submission of LAP activity course updates to the USU Catalog via Curriculog or CourseDog, as directed by the LAP Director.</li><li>
Ensure program compliance with department and university policies in collaboration with the LAP Director.</li><li>
Coordinate scheduling of all department academic courses.</li><li>
Coordinate with program Directors, faculty, and instructors to review and submit the academic course schedule each semester, ensuring all departmental courses are accurately built and submitted by the deadline.</li><li>
Collect course syllabi from instructors and save them within department files.</li><li>
Ensure course evaluations are properly set up within USU's IDEA system for timely and accurate distribution to students.</li><li>
Serve as a liaison between the bookstore and the department.</li><li>
Provide department support and assistance.</li><li>
Serve as the primary front desk contact for the department, providing in-person, phone, and email support to students, instructors, and visitors. Responsibilities include answering and directing calls, data entry, and other administrative tasks as assigned.</li><li>
Maintain and regularly update email lists for department instructor listservs.</li><li>

Qualifications:
