Your Responsibilities:

Resident Services

Conduct onsite Move-In and Notice to Vacate follow-up programs and compile a monthly summary.</li><li>
Assist with the implementation of the 12-month resident retention calendar of activities.</li><li>
On site organization and active participation in resident events and activities.</li><li>
Maintain the company standard of performance of onsite maintenance functions, both in the occupied and vacant apartments through positive interaction with the residents.</li><li>
Onsite follow-up on service requests within 24 hours of completion to ensure resident satisfaction.</li><li>
 Notify resident prior to shift end if Service Request will not be completed. Re- schedule and follow up.</li><li>
Responsible for the onsite administration of parking procedures and policies.</li><li>
Onsite management of promotional move in gift program. Responsible for tracking inventory, placing orders, restocking, cost control, and evaluation of resident response for effectiveness.</li><li>
Promptly notify residents in writing of breach of lease or policy violations.</li><li>
Assist with onsite administering the lease renewal program under the direction of the Associate Manager or Assistant Manager.</li><li>
Present a professional, efficient attitude in remedying any resident complaint to ensure onsite resident satisfaction while working within company guidelines.</li><li>
Responsible for maintaining up to date knowledge of Fair Housing and other legal issues and local ordinances as they affect the property&rsquo;s operations.</li><li>
Ability to articulate legal procedures for evictions in local area, property rules and emergency procedures.</li><li>
Responsible for firm, fair, and consistent administration of all legal and company policies and practices in keeping with company practices and fair housing laws.</li><li>
Onsite participation in the preparation of the resident newsletter if applicable.</li><li>
On a daily basis, accurately input and update onsite Service Requests.</li><li>
Onsite participation in social media management programs if applicable.</li><li>
Collect and accurately record the receipt of any deposits or move-in funds.</li><li>

Leasing
<ul><li>
Successfully lease apartments and boat slips, qualify potential residents, verify applications and complete move-in paperwork.</li><li>
Maintain minimum 33% closing ratio on qualified, walk in traffic.</li><li>
Maintain 50% phone to traffic ratio on qualified sales calls.</li><li>
Perform 90% or better on phone and property shopping reports.</li><li>
Follow company policy regarding prospective resident follow up with phone call within 24 hours and a follow up email within 48 hours.</li><li>
Create all associated documentation accompanying the rental agreements in a timely and accurate fashion.</li><li>
Comply with company requirement of renter&rsquo;s insurance for all move-ins and properly document all policies into Yardi and upload proof of coverage.</li><li>
Collect and accurately record the receipt of any deposits or move-in funds.</li><li>
Physically meet and acquaint the new resident with the leasing documentation by having an in-depth knowledge of the rental agreement, the property rules and the policies that affect the resident and emergency procedures.</li><li>
Walk apartments and note any deficiencies in market ready product, checking the tour route, model and farm units on a daily basis.</li><li>
Enter accurate data daily in Yardi of prospects and new residents and into Anyone</li><li>
 Home for new prospects.</li><li>
Ensure all move-ins receive move-in gift with card.</li><li>
On a monthly basis, update the market survey ensuring a thorough knowledge of the competition and market. Physically shop, on a quarterly basis, the competition strategic planning to gain a competitive edge.</li><li>
On a monthly basis review online ad sources for accuracy</li><li>
Onsite daily posting of Craigslist Ads using the assigned posting tool at required intervals.</li><li>
Weekly deletion of the prior week&rsquo;s Craigslist Ads .</li><li>
Comply with all Fair Housing regulations and local ordinance and laws as they relate to company or property specific guidelines in occupancy standards, demonstrating at all times, firm, fair and consistent administration of all legal and company policies and practice.</li><li>
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of leasing office, lobby and hospitality area on a daily basis.</li><li>

Position Description

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) responsible for administering daily medication to residents in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. Duties include monitoring residents, reporting changes, and collecting and recording medication administration.

Principal Responsibilities
<ul><li>Administers prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations in accordance with approved techniques and notes time and amount on resident&rsquo;s chart.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Deliver routine daily medications as prescribed by physician to residents; pass resident medications in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record (MAR).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms and records; Documents reasons prescribed drugs are not administered and reports to nursing supervisor.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Presents medication to residents and observes ingestion or other application, or administers medication, using specified procedures</li></ul>
<ul><li>Document completion of tasks delivered on a daily basis; Document any observed change of condition in accordance with local rules and regulations.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Communicate between Med Techs/Med Aides about resident needs for consistent quality services.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Participate in meal service including serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room; Assures that residents are positioned appropriately for meals; Assures that appropriate utensils are within reach of residents; Serves food trays and assists with feeding as indicated; Delivers and documents all a.m., p.m., and bedtime snacks and supplements; Provides hydration to all residents according to center policy.</li></ul>

Qualifications
<ul><li>Certified in the state of practice, required.</li></ul>

Report changes in the resident&rsquo;s eating habits to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.</li><li>Keep residents&rsquo; water pitchers clean and filled with fresh water (on each shift), and within easy reach of the resident.</li><li>Perform after meal care (i.e., remove trays, clean resident&rsquo;s hands, face, clothing, etc.).</li><li>Participate in and receive the nursing report upon reporting for duty.</li><li>Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by your supervisors.</li><li>Follow work assignments, and/or work schedules in completing and performing your assigned tasks.</li><li>Cooperate with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other facility personnel to ensure that nursing services can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.</li><li>Notify the facility when you will be late or absent from work.</li><li>Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with the facility&rsquo;s policies and procedures governing accidents and incidents.</li><li>Assist residents with daily functions (dental and mouth care, bath functions, combing of hair, dressing and undressing as necessary).</li><li>Keep residents dry (change gown, clothing and linens, when it becomes wet or soiled).</li><li>Assist residents in preparing for medical tests (i.e., lab work, x-ray, therapy, dental, etc.).</li><li>Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.</li><li>Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.</li><li>Assist in preparing the resident for a physical examination.</li><li>Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes.</li><li>Observe and report the presence of pressure areas and skin breakdowns to prevent decubitus ulcers (bedsores).</li><li>Report injuries of an unknown source, including skin tears.</li><li>Observe disoriented and comatose residents. Record and report data as instructed</li><li>Perform special treatments as instructed.</li><li>Immediately notify the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse of any resident leaving/missing from the facility.</li><li>Use only the equipment you have been trained to use.</li><li>Report defective equipment to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse</li><li>Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.</li><li>Report all allegations of resident abuse and/or misappropriation of resident property.</li><li>Honor the resident&rsquo;s refusal of treatment request. Qualification 
Education and/or Experience
Must possess, as a minimum, an 10th grade education 
 
Language Skills

Premier Assisted Living community in Nocatee seeking dynamic Med Tech/Caregiver for Assisted Living &amp; Memory Care.

Properly assist with scheduled medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Community policy. Provide personalized care and services to residents, uphold the Community Core Values, procedures, and ensure the residents&rsquo; rights to safe, prompt, and confidential treatment are met for 12 hour shifts.

<li>Follow the six &lsquo;rights&rdquo; of medication administration (right resident, right drug, right dosage, right time, right route, right record/documentation) each and every time assistance with medication occurs. Check each of the six &ldquo;rights&rdquo; of medication assistance three different times:</li>
<li>When the medication is taken out of the medication cart or storage</li>
<li>Immediately before assisting with/ medication</li>
<li>Immediately after assisting with the medication</li>
<li>Assist with medications for resident according to their Medication Observation Record (MOR), if no errors are noted, uphold the residence&rsquo;s philosophy, and protect resident privacy.</li>
<li>Document clearly and accurately on the Medication Observation Record (MOR) after a medication is taken/given, refused, held, discontinued, changed, disposed of, or returned.</li>
<li>Effectively communicate information pertaining to the residents to other team members according to residence policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Effectively communicate to the Nurse any changes noted in a resident&rsquo;s condition or behavior, adverse reaction to a medication, any resident concerns, complaints, refusal of a medication, any errors noted on the Medication Observation Record (MOR).</li>
<li>Report any and all medication errors honestly and immediately.</li>
<li>Maintain a neat, clean, organized medication cart/cabinet, and restock the cart/cabinet as needed.</li>
<li>Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift; knows where their residents are and physically checks on each resident as assigned.</li>
<li>Observes, reports and documents symptoms and conditions of residents for changes in condition such as skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary and participation in activities.</li>
<li>Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly.</li>
<li>Notifies supervisor and/or Director of Nursing if a resident has increased care needs.</li>
<li>Assists with continence management and disposes of all continence products properly to ensure sanitation of resident suite and community restrooms.</li>
<li>Serves and collects food trays and assists as needed; reports refusal of meals or loss of appetite.</li>
<li>Maintains cleanliness of resident&rsquo;s room and work areas.</li>
<li>Practices good standard care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene and health.</li>
