Potential residents find these listings online and then schedule a tour through an automated system. Thirty minutes before their tour, they receive a text with the code for the front-door lockbox containing the key. Once they&rsquo;ve finished the tour, they place the key back in the lockbox, complete a survey, and apply. This automation eliminates the need for Doorby teammates to be physically present for property tours. This lead generation process produces a monthly average of 1900 tour requests, 660 tours, and 135 applications.Along with the other members of the leasing team, the Leasing Consultant shares ownership over the pipeline of tours, feedback surveys, applications, approved applicants, lease executions, deposit collections, and scheduled move ins. Filling vacant units as quickly as possible while also being responsive to prospective residents requires a mixture of customer service, sales, and project management!Are you attempting to enter the real-estate industry for the first time? If so, no prior experience is required. This position is an entry point into the company where the position learns real-estate rental basics &ndash; how to market and advertise available properties, understanding lease agreements, screening residents (credit checks, background checks, and rental history verification), customer service skills, fair housing laws, and housing market trends. The Leasing Consultant provides information, onsite tours of the community, with the intent to lease apartments to prospective residents; provides customer service to existing residents to make a positive impact for the property.
Your day-to-day may include:<ul><li>

Requirements:

The Leasing Consultant position is the primary point of contact for residents and prospective residents. Providing outstanding customer service and demonstrating sales excellence are essential. Reports to: Senior Community/Community Manager has primary authority and works with the Leasing Consultant to determine the exact "day-to-day" duties. Decisions will take into account the Leasing Consultants skills, experience, career goals, and how the individual best fits the working requirements of the community.
 
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
 Sales and Marketing
 <ul>
<li>Warmly greet prospective residents and create a personal connection while determining needs and preferences</li>
<li>Professionally present the community and homes along with specific features and benefits</li>
<li>Correctly complete all lease applications, assist with application verification, and notify prospective resident of results in a timely manner</li>
<li>Manage and convert prospect leads into leases to achieve leasing goals. Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease</li>
<li>Call or visit competitive properties to update market survey on a monthly basis. Stay informed and aware of rents, specials and events promoted by competitors</li>
<li>Answer telephone calls and return voicemail (prospect calls, resident issues, service requests, etc.)</li>
<li>Enter accurate and timely data into appropriate information systems and prepare leasing reports for the Manager as requested. Manage Entrata tasks and leads daily</li>
