Starting salary: $24 per hour
Schedule: Rotating schedule- work 2 weekends a month
JOB SUMMARY
The Shift Supervisor works within a 24-bed residential psychiatric treatment facility for children ages 6-12. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coaching and overseeing direct care staff on shift, ensuring a trauma-informed team approach and overseeing smooth shift operations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Serve as a co-crisis leader alongside the on-shift nurse to ensure safe, effective responses during critical incidents.
</li><li>Oversee daily shift operations, including the coordination and delivery of youth programming.
</li><li>Manage shift staffing, including scheduling and securing coverage for call-outs to maintain appropriate ratios.
</li><li>Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with fellow Shift Supervisors to support staffing, program needs during off-hours (additional stipend provided for on-call work).
</li><li>Maintain organized, safe, and well-functioning common areas, while supporting departmental procedures and overall environmental safety.
</li><li>Provide on-the-floor training, coaching, and professional development for direct care staff.
</li><li>Deliver direct care to youth as needed to maintain staffing ratios and ensure quality support.
</li><li>Monitor and enforce adherence to program policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
</li><li>Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the overall success and well-being of youth</li></ul>
Experience and Skills:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree strongly preferred; High School diploma is required.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Ability to give and receive constructive feedback in a solution orientation manner.
</li><li>Make quick decisions and use problem solving to ensure smooth operations.

Schedule: Mon 12p-2p, Weds-Fri 2p-10p, Sat 9a-11p
Full-time: 40 hours
Pay rate: $19.00-$20.50 per hour &ndash; Paid training provided by Venture!
Sign on Bonus: $1000 for Full Time and $500 for Part Time Employees
Summary:
This full-time role in an adult residential setting involves supervising and supporting residents' daily activities while fostering their physical, emotional, social, and vocational development. The Residential Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that residents are engaged in meaningful activities that promote greater independence, community integration, and personal growth. Compassion, teamwork, and leadership skills are essential. This position offers an opportunity for growth, leadership, and meaningful work in supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving greater independence and well-being. This position is compensated on an hourly basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs), behavior plans, and assessments to align with individual needs and program goals.</li><li>Create, lead and supervise Direct Support Professionals during shifts, ensuring consistent communication and adherence to daily scheduled plans.</li><li>Ensure all ISP programs and behavior data sheets are documented</li><li>Ensure medications are delivered and documented</li><li>Ensure recreation and DRO&rsquo;s/DRL&rsquo;s are run as directed</li><li>Ensure the cleaning schedule has been completed thoroughly by those assigned</li><li>Foster community involvement, employment opportunities, and recreational activities that support resident engagement and personal development.</li><li>Coordinate with families, guardians, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care and support as directed by Residential House Manager.</li><li>Assist with financial management, including resident accounts and house budgets, as directed by the Residential House Manager.</li><li>Attend annual and semi-annual reviews as assigned by Residential House Manager.</li><li>Ensure the program maintains the standard outlined in the Department of Developmental Services Mission Statement, the Survey and Certification Tool</li><li>Perform safety checks, assist with fire drills, and ensure compliance with DDS regulations and safety standards.</li><li>Oversee and support residents in meal preparation, shopping, and other daily living activities.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and records related to residents' progress, health, and program involvement. Ensuring all staff complete daily reports and tasks as assigned</li><li>Assist with household maintenance needs and vehicle upkeep to ensure a safe and functional living environment.</li><li>Take a leadership role in planning individual leisure activities and ensuring residents have access to opportunities for recreation and personal development.</li><li>Serve as the primary contact during shifts, communicating day-to-day updates to administrative personnel in the absence of the Residential House Manager.</li><li>Maintain First Aid, CPR, MAP &amp; PABC certifications.</li><li>Maintain training specific to individual programmatic issues.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Physical and Scheduling Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to assist residents with personal care, including lifting and transferring individuals.</li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, overnight coverage, and occasional overtime as needed.</li><li>Must be able to handle physically demanding situations, such as assisting in emergencies or behavioral crises.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>B.A./B.S. in education, psychology, rehabilitation, or related field preferred or one year of experience in human services.</li><li>Must maintain active MAP certification, will need to obtain MAP certification within 3 months of hire.</li><li>Must be 21+, with a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver&rsquo;s license, and daily use of a car (preferred).</li><li>Must have strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Must be able to meet physical requirements, including assisting with resident transfers, personal care, and handling emergency situations.</li></ul>

Employees must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job. Employee must be able to speak, read, and write in fluent English.</li><li>
