Roles & Responsibilities
 Condado Tacos is looking for Assistant Managers who are expressive, knowledgeable, and hospitality driven to support the Restaurant in all things Condado. As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the overall feel, look, and general success for the front of house. Management is expected to engage with all roles of the operation, and to be an active resource for our hourly and management teams’ day-in and day-out.
 Aside from making sure our team is successful, here are a bunch of things we focus on daily:
 
Always putting the guest experience first!
 
Ensuring every item that is delivered to the guest meets the highest standards for quality and presentation set by Condado
 
Constant awareness of the feel and vibe in the restaurant and setting the standard for the rest of the staff
 
Not only finding the best talent, but training and supporting the team daily
 
Serving the local community as if they were friends and family; whether inside or outside the four walls.
 
Dedication to health and safety standards outlined by Condado and the Department of Health
 
Assisting GM in controlling COGS, labor, and other budgets as set by GM and Regional Manager.
 
Writing schedule for Front of House staff while taking into account team member’s strengths and weaknesses, and business trends
 
Work closely with GM and AGM on Condado initiatives
 
Assisting with interviewing, hiring, and training of all new team members
 
Administer human resources and risk management compliance issues
 
Supervision of side work for all roles
 
Opening and/or Closing
 
Assisting in the execution of weekly inventory
 
Maintain Condado store emails
 
Build and adjust ordering pars for daily and weekly food, liquor and dry stock orders
 
Temp and taste all food items
 
Other duties as needed
 
Minimum Qualifications
 
Passion for the industry including the highest standards for service and guest interaction.
 
Minimum 1 years of previous restaurant manager experience required
 
Manager ServSafe Certification preferred
 
Passion for tacos, tequila, and beer
 
Be willing to work nights & weekends
 
Dedication to health and safety standards outlined by Condado and the Department of Health
 
Familiarity with scheduling systems, point of sale, invoicing and inventory systems (preferred)
 
Physical Requirements: 
While performing the duties of this position, the team member is required to stand or walk for hours at a time up to 4-8 hours.
 
Team members are frequently required to sit; stoop; bend; shake, stir, pour, and reach with hands and arms.
 
Team members will continuously be performing hand and wrist work including grasping, and bending and twisting and fine hand manipulation.
 
Team members will continuously lift, carry and balance 0-25 pounds, occasionally lift or carry 25-50 lbs, and rarely lift over 50lbs.

Guest Service &amp; Experience<ul>

Support the delivery of consistent, warm, and professional service aligned with Embassy Suites guest service culture.</li>

Review guest feedback (Medallia, SALT, surveys) and implement action plans to improve scores.</li>

Team Leadership &amp; Training<ul>

Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, bussers, and bartenders.</li>

Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action when needed.</li>

Foster a positive, collaborative, and service-focused team environment.</li>
<li>
Help create and manage weekly staff schedules to ensure proper coverage during peak periods.</li>
</ul>
Financial Responsibilities<ul>
<li>
Support inventory control, cost management, and waste reduction initiatives.</li>
<li>
Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and revenue reporting.</li>
<li>
Monitor labor costs and adjust staffing levels appropriately.</li>
<li>
Help analyze financial performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.</li>
</ul>
Administrative Tasks<ul>
<li>
Complete daily shift reports, incident logs, and other required documentation.</li>
<li>
Assist with payroll accuracy, timekeeping, and attendance tracking.</li>
<li>
Work with the Manager to evaluate and update SOPs, service guidelines, and policy compliance.</li>
<li>
Support coordination with other departments (Front Office, Banquets, Kitchen, Housekeeping).</li>
