The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for part-time Dish Crew Stewards within Rohr's in our campus Hospitality department. The UOES Division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations. 
 
Dish Crew Steward 
 
Join the dynamic campus Hospitality team as a Dish Crew Steward. This essential back of house role is crucial to the success of our operation, directly supporting cleanliness, safety, excellent food production and service. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
<ul><li>
Foster a culture of safety and ensure a safe working environment for all staff and guests.</li><li>
Lead and assist with cleaning all tableware and kitchen equipment.</li><li>
Support dish room operations, including setup, organization and cleaning.</li><li>
Operate the dish machine, ensuring proper sorting of trays, glass, utensils, carts and equipment.</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness and care of kitchen equipment.</li><li>
Manage waste, emptying all trash, cardboard and recycling containers.</li><li>
Collaborate effectively with the dish team on a daily basis.</li><li>
Assist in the reorganization of all kitchen and event serviceware to maintain efficiency and readiness for items to be used again.</li><li>
Assist with logistics, including loading/unloading trucks and breaking down carts.</li></ul>
