<p>We are Spoke Bicycle Cafe, a restaurant, coffee shop, bike shop, and event venue in Frogtown/Elysian Valley, Los Angeles. We are located at the end of a dead end street in a funky neighborhood and face the LA River Bike Path. We are close to Dodger Stadium, Echo Park, Silver Lake, Chinatown, Atwater Village, Cypress Park, Glassell Park, and Glendale. We serve a full food menu with many vegan and omnivore selections, some of the best espresso in the city, local beer and wines, and more. We also operate a full-service bike shop on site where we repair bikes, sell accessories, build bikes, and rent bikes. There are two buildings on site with a huge patio in between. You wont need to know anything about bikes, but well-rounded experience is always a plus!</p><p>We are looking for an experienced front of house worker to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including espresso, beer, wine, cocktails, and a variety of other items. There is also potential for crossover work if you have kitchen or bike shop experience. Must have references and cafe/restaurant experience. Barista experience required. Must have worked extensively on a coffee bar and be comfortable making drinks. Please do not apply without it.
