At Regions, the Relationship Banker I is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, both on the cash line and on the phone, and contributing to improving the financial wellness of our customers. Primary Responsibilities

Provides a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line while handling customers’ transactional needs, such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller transactions

Answers customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfills basic servicing requests, such as new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN reset requests, reordering checks, and basic problem resolution

Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></p>
<p>
➢ Provide exceptional customer service in the retail banking environment and develop strong customer relationships to grow customer base and increase deposit account/service production and consumer loan production.<br>
➢ May perform vault duties including cash shipments and distribution of money to other PBs, cash recyclers and ATMs.<br>
➢ May assist with in branch security duties.<br>
➢ Demonstrate a solid understanding of banking products and services to assist customers with appropriate selection to meet their individual needs.<br>
➢ Assist customers with all aspects of opening and maintaining deposit accounts (checking, savings, time deposits, IRAs, Safe Deposit Boxes, etc.) and services (debit cards, online banking, ACH, Merchant Processing, Remote Deposit Capture, etc.).<br>
➢ Assist customers with all aspects of the consumer loan application process including interviewing, educating, recommending appropriate products, and communicating with customers throughout the process.<br>
➢ Order credit reports and validate borrower&rsquo;s credit, income, assets, and any other required information.<br>
➢ Understand and explain loan terms and conditions to customers.<br>
➢ Attend and present to loan committee when required for approval.<br>
➢ Order appraisals as appropriate.<br>
➢ Conduct loan closings and ensure all loan file documentation is in order.<br>
➢ Assist with perfection of liens.<br>
