Organized Retail Crime (ORC) investigator monitors and respond to theft incidents affiliated with ORC. They provide an investigative response to related external theft incidents. The ORC Investigator will maintain cooperative relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement, prosecutors, and other investigative entities. The Investigator will also investigate reports internal non-retail criminal acts that could possibly impact a retailer facility. The investigator will handle administrative duties to assist the ORC Manager process and communication with stores.</p><p><b>

Supports the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by executing core responsibilities, focused on acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty and by wearing a body worn camera. Supports a positive customer shopping experience in the store and maintains a strong store partnership with store teams and loss prevention. Exercises sound judgment in decision-making to ensure their safety, the safety of others, and the protection of the Company brand. Adheres to Company policies and maintains and supports Company culture and values.</p><ul><li>
Maintains a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store</li><li>
Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty</li><li>
Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide</li><li>
Wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera</li><li>
Greet customers appropriately, demonstrate courtesy and respect</li><li>
Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department</li><li>
Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company issued radio</li><li>
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management</li><li>
Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management</li><li>
Adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure</li><li>
Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><b>
