What will I be doing?
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for all activities related to the Hotel&rsquo;s goods receiving process and recording of goods received in close co-operation with the Accounts Payable / OTP (Order to Procure department). Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
<ul><li>Oversees and records all activities related to accurate receivable procedures in terms of quantitive and quality controls, order approval documents and passing on of received goods to the relevant inhouse departments.</li>
<li>The Receiving Clerk is also ensuring that any goods, material and equipment leaving the hotel is recorded, accounted for and internally approved.</li>
<li>Assists in any other way deemed necessary for the efficient overall operation of the Accounts Payable / OTP (Order to Procure department) in full compliance with the policy, regulatory and contractual framework.</li>
<li>Business partner with all hotel finance team members and all departments.</li>
<li>Participate in all relevant Finance training and development programs. In case of a joint job role any responsibility relevant joint job descriptions will apply in accordance with Hilton&rsquo;s job segregation policies.</li>

Associates may be subjected to hazards such as burns, cuts, electrical, explosive, and mechanical. Due to the nature of the work, associates may be exposed atmospheric conditions such as dust fumes, odors, and poor ventilation. Job Overview

They will also greet visitors as they enter the Administration area and assist Administrative staff in a variety of clerical support activities.Primary Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.</li><li>Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.</li><li>Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.</li><li>Answers general questions regarding offenders: housing location, release date, mail, phone, and visitation processes.</li><li>Answers general questions about visitation days and times for all housing locations.</li><li>Corresponds with court representatives and attorneys to schedule teleconferences and videoconferences to include receiving and understanding court orders.</li><li>Corresponds with court representatives and attorneys to schedule meetings and depositions to include receiving and understanding court orders.</li><li>Arranges room for meetings and depositions, notifies effected staff, prepares gate release, and issues offender pass.</li><li>Provides assistance to other administrative staff using various computer systems and filing methods.</li></ul>Minimum Requirements<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent certification required.</li><li>Minimum one (1) year of clerical experience or an equivalent combination of clerical/administrative experience preferred.</li><li>Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</li><li>Ability to provide effective customer services by responding promptly to customer needs, services, and inquiries.</li><li>Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listen and get clarification; and respond well to questions.</li><li>Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands and adapt to frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.</li><li>Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $15.56 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
