Responsibilities<ul><li>
Provide general product information to customers making inquiries via phone and email.</li><li>
Meet production goals as outlined in the training program, including monthly activity, client appointments, and new accounts.</li><li>
Explain and ensure customers understand product options for routine inquiries; educate and make recommendations when appropriate for Brokerage Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA).</li><li>
Learn all systems and products, including applicable regulations and compliance guidelines.</li><li>
Complete training and development programs to prepare for licensing</li><li>
Learn financial planning concepts, tools, and compliance requirements.</li><li>
Document activities in Salesforce and other customer relationship management (CRM) systems as required.</li><li>

Total Compensation for this role is estimated to be $55,350 - $60,750 per year.
Base Compensation:
The salary for this position ranges from $40,000 to $45,000 annually.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 5%.
Commissions:
This position may be eligible to earn commissions based on applicable sales incentive plan(s). All details pertaining to the calculation and payment of those commissions are available in the individual provisions of the sales incentive plan that applies.
This role provides a guaranteed floor of $1000 each month for the first 6 months.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAMP COUNSELOR
As a Seasonal Camp Counselor at one of our locations, you assist the camp program director in ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all children involved. Always alert, you provide proper supervision and discipline for the children as you &quot;see, hear, direct, and assess.&quot; You are careful to act as a role model for the children at all times!
You are friendly and patient as you assist with the enrollment of new children and facilitate the onboarding of each child and his/her parents into the Y Program. As a key liaison between children, their parents, and the Camp Program Director, you keep this good rapport going as you communicate with parents on a daily basis. Parents feel good about leaving their children in your loving and capable hands.
With enthusiasm, you help implement lesson plans based on child development principles and keep the classroom clean and in order. You are also conscientious about keeping classroom records up to date and accurate and ensuring compliance with YMCA standards and government regulations. As someone who loves your job, you happily participate in program activities with the children.

BYU Online High School Counselor
The BYU Online High School (BYU OHS) school counselor reports directly to and works closely with the BYU High School Online Learning Education Service Agency (ESA) school counselor (Lead School Counselor). Under the direction of the Lead School Counselor, the BYU OHS school counselor oversees the school&rsquo;s academic advising and counseling, graduation, transcripts and credits, mental health counseling referrals, College and Career Readiness planning, and college application support. The school counselor supervises student progress, and coordinates student academic planning with teachers and Parents. The school counselor works with students and school staff to provide access to and help communicate about additional educational resources and other support available.
Note: This is a part-time position (28) hours per week. This position follows a hybrid work model, with time split between in-office and remote work.
What you&rsquo;ll do in this position:
Support Students and Families
<ul><li>Help students and parents create four-year academic plans (including accommodations when needed)
</li><li>Assist with class selection, tutoring, tech support, and letters of recommendation
</li><li>Monitor student progress and offer support if they&rsquo;re struggling academically or emotionally
</li><li>Work with the school team to support students with academic, attendance, or behavioral challenges
</li><li>Ensure students meet graduation requirements
</li><li>Guide students through college, scholarship, and financial aid applications
</li></ul>Maintain Records and Ensure Compliance
<ul><li>Review and process transcripts
</li><li>Audit and manage student records
</li><li>Assist with official documentation under Lead Counselor supervision
</li></ul>Admissions Support
<ul><li>Evaluate transfer and international credits (e.g., TEC or IERF) under Lead Counselor supervisor
</li></ul>Team Collaboration &amp; School Planning
<ul><li>Help improve school programs and student outcomes
</li><li>Support academic standards, equity, and student success
</li><li>Update newsletters, brochures, and websites with current info
</li><li>Assist in delivering a College &amp; Career Readiness Counseling Program
</li></ul>What qualifies you for this role:
Required
<ul><li>A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
</li><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in school counseling or a related field
</li><li>Licensed School Counselor in Utah
</li><li>Experience advising and supporting high school students and middle school students
</li><li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; detail-oriented and tech-savvy (including Microsoft Office)
</li><li>Ability to support students and families with professionalism, sensitivity, and a positive attitude
</li><li>Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) graduation requirements, FERPA, accommodations, and NCAA eligibility

Typical Starting Pay: $31.50 - $40.75
The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate&rsquo;s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
