<div>The Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst will be one of the first people to build Bounce's risk function from the ground up &mdash; the person whose analyses decides where our capital actually gets deployed. Bounce operates in a $100B+ debt collection market, buying and managing real portfolios today, so this is live capital decisions from week one, not a function you&rsquo;re prototyping in theory. Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, you will assess new opportunities to deploy substantial capital into debt portfolio acquisitions and ensure those investments deliver against their expected returns.
You will underwrite incoming portfolios, forecast expected collections, develop pricing recommendations, and partner closely with the CRO and Data Science team to make disciplined, data-driven, and clearly supportable bid decisions. Once portfolios are acquired, you will own tracking performance against target IRR and MOIC, identify potential shortfalls early, and connect return gaps to their underlying operation, financial, or portfolio-level drivers &mdash; not just run the numbers, but call the shots on what they mean.
As an early member of the risk function, you will help establish the underwriting standards, analytical methodologies, reporting cadence, and decision-making processes that make this work repeatable, scalable, and actionable across the organization. Requirements:
 
<ul><li>4+ years of experience in credit risk, portfolio analytics, structured or specialty finance, acquisitions, investment banking, private credit, or a related field within a debt buyer, lender, consumer credit firm, credit fund, distressed investing, CLO, or bond-trading environment.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or another quantitative field.</li><li>
Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently write non-trivial queries (joins, window functions, date logic, cohort aggregation) against a large warehouse.</li><li>
Strong financial modeling skills, including IRR, MOIC, NPV, cash flow, sensitivity, and vintage analysis.</li><li>
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, imperfect loan-level or transaction-level datasets.</li><li>

Acquisition Underwriting<ul><li>
Evaluate incoming debt-sale opportunities by building loan-level and cohort-level collection and cash-flow forecasts and recommending bid pricing, expressed in cents on the dollar.</li><li>
Stratify portfolios by product type, balance band, delinquency/age, state (statute-of-limitations exposure), and account attributes to understand what drives value.</li><li>
Run seller data due diligence: completeness and fill rates, balance reconciliation to the tape, documentation/media availability, chain of title, bankruptcy/deceased scrubs, and prior placement history.</li><li>
Build return models &mdash; IRR, MOIC, NPV/discounting, hurdle achievement &mdash; and stress-test the assumptions that matter most.</li><li>
Translate underwriting assumptions into explicit, monitorable post-purchase expectations so we can later measure actual vs. underwritten.</li></ul>
Portfolio Surveillance<ul><li>
Track actual collection curves against underwritten curves by batch and vintage.</li><li>
Maintain IRR/MOIC tracking against hurdle targets; flag underperformance early.</li><li>
Partner with Data Science on estimated remaining collections (ERC) recalibration.</li><li>
Diagnose return gaps by connecting them to operational drivers (outreach cadence, right-party contact, conversion, break/keep rates) and population factors (bankruptcy, bad contact data).</li><li>
Produce recurring portfolio-risk reporting for leadership.</li></ul>
Building the Function<ul><li>
Help establish the risk playbook: underwriting standards, pricing methodology, monitoring cadence, and escalation thresholds.</li><li>
Codify reusable analyses and write documentation for clarity and replicability.</li><li>
Work with leadership to define risk appetite and the guardrails around it.</li></ul>

We are looking for a Technology Governance &amp; Risk Senior Analyst to lead and execute our governance and risk management initiatives.  As the North America&rsquo;s Analyst for Real Estate Strategy, you set and implement controlling routines and strategies for all Real Estate functions in the US and Canada. This role will perform trend analysis and prognosis, financial reporting and drive risk management for the Real Estate function in the US and Canada.
 
 
 The Analyst for Real Estate Strategy will foster and support the collaboration between Real Estate function and the other departments (Store Operations, HR, Marketing, Finance, etc.).

 Your Role as an Analyst, Real Estate Strategy

 Set and implement controlling routines and strategies for the US and Canada.
 </li>

 Support all local Expansion functions in setting clear strategies and goals.

 Translate regional strategies and set tangible goals and targets for your market.

 Ownership of all relevant market data, securing accuracy and relevance.

 Perform and support key analysis on major Real Estate and Financial KPIs (ROI, rent levels, square-meter selling, net investment, operational costs, etc.).

 Collaborate with Real Estate Directors on tracking and development of upcoming Lease Renewals and Major Landlord Package Negotiations.

 Collaborate, review, and analyse market data and reports from third- party vendors.

 Prepare ad-hoc analysis and business cases to evaluate current and future business opportunities.

 Ensure that accurate information about the project pipeline and portfolio is available to other local departments and the central support organization (planned number of projects, opening/closure dates, project status, etc.).

 Analyse trends and deviations versus budget/targets and draw conclusions on how to improve the result.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ownership of all budgets presented for projects and annual budgets for Leasing and C&amp;F (Construction &amp; Facilities).

 Create and support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements to local and global functions for CapEx and OpEx.

 Own local budget and forecasting process and data gathering for Leasing.
 </li>

 Work according to the general guidelines to ensure routines and drive improvements/actions in processes, methods, and tools to minimize business risks.

 Secure financial transparency at the highest level and ensure that each team member is aware of its responsibilities and approval rights.

 </li>
 <li>
 Good understanding of accounting principles and support systems.
