The Compliance Officer will be a member of the Consumer Lending Servicing Compliance team within Compliance Risk Management. The role involves conducting inspections, risk assessments, safety training, accident investigations, and promoting a safe working environment.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Health &amp; Safety Management</b></p><ul><li>Implement company HSE policies and procedures.</li><li>Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.</li><li>Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.</li><li>Monitor use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).</li><li>Maintain safe working practices at all times.</li></ul><p><b>Risk Assessment &amp; Incident Management</b></p><ul><li>Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments.</li><li>Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.</li><li>Prepare incident reports and corrective action plans.</li><li>Maintain records of accidents and safety observations.</li><li>Monitor emergency preparedness and response procedures.</li></ul><p><b>Training &amp; Awareness</b></p><ul><li>Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions.</li><li>Train employees on safety procedures and emergency response.</li><li>Promote safety awareness campaigns across the site.</li></ul><p><b>Documentation &amp; Compliance</b></p><ul><li>Maintain HSE documentation and reports.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local authority and client safety requirements.</li><li>Monitor safety permits including:</li><li>Hot Work Permit</li><li>Work at Height Permit</li><li>Confined Space Permit</li><li>Electrical Isolation Permit</li></ul><p><b>Coordination</b></p><ul><li>Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and contractors on safety matters.</li><li>Participate in client safety meetings and inspections.</li><li>Support audits and regulatory inspections.</li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in any discipline (preferred Engineering).</li><li>NEBOSH IGC / IOSH certification preferred.</li><li>Additional HSE certifications are an advantage.</li></ul><p><b>Experience</b></p><ul><li>3&ndash;7 years of experience as Safety Officer in:</li><li>Oil &amp; Gas</li><li>Facilities Management</li><li>Industrial projects</li></ul><p><b>Technical Skills</b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.</li><li>Familiarity with risk assessment and incident investigation.</li><li>Understanding of emergency response procedures.</li><li>Ability to prepare safety reports and documentation.</li></ul><p><b>Soft Skills</b></p><ul><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Leadership and observation skills</li><li>Problem-solving ability</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Teamwork and coordination</li></ul><p><b>Working Conditions</b></p><ul><li>Site-based work environment.</li><li>May require shift work and outdoor duties.</li></ul><p>Candidates with transferable Visa and NOC available are preferred.</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>
