Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a caring and dynamic individual to join our leadership team and have a direct and positive impact on the lives of our residents, families and staff. Additionally, providing supervision to the nursing staff, while ensuring the quality of nursing care provided to our residents.
LPN/RN Supervisor Responsibilities and Duties<ul><li>
Provide support to the Director of Nursing with planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating the nursing service department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the nursing care facilities.</li><li>
Develop, maintain, and periodically update written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department.</li><li>
Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents&rsquo; total regimen of care.</li><li>
Determine the staffing needs of the nursing service department necessary to meet the total nursing needs of the residents.</li><li>
Supervise and assist scheduling of employees within established state guidelines.</li><li>
Ensure that direct nursing care be provided by a licensed nurse, a CNA, and/or GNA/CMA as applicable, and/or a nurse aide trainee qualified to perform the procedure.</li><li>
Review nurses&rsquo; notes to ensure that they are informative and descriptive of the nursing care being provided, that they reflect the resident&rsquo;s response to the care, and that such care is provided in accordance with the resident&rsquo;s wishes.</li><li>
Incorporate commercially produced instruction material and training aids into existing in-service programs as deemed necessary.</li><li>
Provide leadership in formulating the goals and objectives of the in-service educational programs of this Center.</li></ul>
LPN/RN Supervisor Qualifications:<ul><li>
Active LPN or RN license is required.</li><li>
Long-term care experience is required.</li><li>
Supervisory experience is preferred.</li><li>

The ER Registrar is responsible for managing patient intake and registration processes in the Emergency Department. This role gathers and verifies personal, insurance, and medical information, ensures accuracy and confidentiality of patient records, and delivers high-quality customer service to patients and their families. The ER Registrar plays a key role in facilitating efficient department operations by supporting accurate documentation, insurance verification, and communication across clinical and administrative teams.
Must be available to work the Night Shift from 7pm-7am. Working seven days on and six days off, including weekends and holidays. 
 
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Greets patients and families in a professional and compassionate manner, ensuring a positive first impression.</li><li>
Registers patients for emergency services, obtaining all required personal, insurance, and medical information.</li><li>
Verifies patient identification and insurance details, making necessary updates to patient records as needed.</li><li>
Obtains patient's or appropriate family members' signature on all necessary consent authorization forms, explaining each consent prior to it being signed.</li><li>
Verifies insurance coverage and eligibility, ensuring that all necessary information is captured for billing purposes.</li><li>
Collects patient co-pays or deductibles when applicable and inform patients of financial obligations.</li><li>
Assists patients with understanding insurance requirements and assist with resolving insurance-related questions.</li><li>
Carefully documents on all forms if the patient is unable to sign the consent authorization forms or why a family member signs the forms and has nursing sign off if the patient is unable to sign.</li><li>
Verifies insurance and identifies the proper insurance plan codes to ensure accurate and prompt payment.</li><li>
Compiles the necessary paperwork to ensure quick retrieval and processing of the patients visit.</li><li>
Places an armband on each patient before the patient leaves the department to ensure proper identification of the patient throughout their stay.</li><li>
Notifies department or physicians or the patient's arrival. Follows up with the physician or ancillary department if the patient is left waiting for an extended period of time.</li><li>
Maintains communication with key personnel during emergency codes and alerts the facility when emergency plans are in place.</li><li>

SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift&rsquo;s services, programs and activities. Make written &amp; oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of the shift as required. Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required. Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift.</li>
<li>Complete &amp; file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon the resident&rsquo;s admission, transfer and/or discharge. Receive &amp; transcribe telephone orders from physicians &amp; record on the Physician&rsquo;s Order Form. Chart nurse&rsquo;s notes in an informative &amp; descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident&rsquo;s response to the care. Fill out and complete accident/incident reports &amp; submit to Director as required. Perform routine charting duties as required &amp; in accordance with established charting &amp; documentation policies &amp; procedures.</li>
<li>Prepare &amp; administer medications as ordered by the physician.</li>
<li>Develop &amp; maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents. Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift. Receive/give the nursing report upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours. Make rounds with physicians as necessary.</li>
<li>Administer professional services such as: catheterization, tube feedings, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy, and drainage bags, taking blood, giving massages and range of motion exercises, etc., as required.</li>
<li>Monitor your assigned personnel to ensure that they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies.</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information. Ensure that all nursing care is provided in privacy and that nursing service personnel knock before entering the resident&rsquo;s room.</li>
<li>Provide IV &amp; IV site care as needed.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

<li>Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.</li>
