<p><b>Responsibilities:
</b></p><ul><li>Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for an assigned patient population</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists physician during examinations and procedures</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse</li></ul>
<ul><li>Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patient and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills</li></ul>
<ul><li>A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li></ul>
<ul><li>Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field

 Work Location: OBGYN Clinic, Womens Health Research Center

 Under general supervision, to provide and manage patient care. To deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation including, but not limited to, interviewing, obtaining physicals, providing patient education, determining initial diagnosis and documentation. To effectively interact with patient, significant others and other healthcare team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. To respond to the unique needs of all patients ages newborn through geriatric.
