Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN Supervisor to join our team at Manchester Healthcare Center in Los Angeles, CA. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our subacute unit, providing exceptional care to our residents, and ensuring that our high standards of quality and patient satisfaction are met.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Supervise and administer direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated</li><li>
Evaluate all residents with COC to assure residents' needs are being met</li><li>
Provide support and education to staff, residents, and families</li><li>
Make rounds twice each shift to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment</li><li>
Meet with all new admissions to assure core needs are being met</li><li>
Assure accuracy and completeness of medical records</li><li>
Review resident records for all new admissions to assure complete per facility policies and procedures</li><li>
Review all event reports for completion</li><li>
Assist with admissions, resident care plans, and resident assessments</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Current, valid Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the State of California</li><li>
Current BCLS certification</li><li>
RN graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an Associates Degree</li><li>
At least six months prior RN experience in the past two years in a general acute care hospital setting, or acquired equivalent competency appropriate to the type of sub-acute residents that the facility provides care to</li><li>
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, and to be easily understood through verbal communication in the English language</li><li>
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals</li></ul>
Working Environment:<ul><li>
Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM</li><li>
